This restaurant is definitely worth the trip as we live an hour away. This was our second time coming here and made the journey... just for Blue Springs. The food is absolutely delicious home cooking. The pies are outstanding!! The service is provided withwelcoming smile and attentive care to our dining needs. Good comfort food and plenty of it. Good, but not the best I've ever eaten. You can't beat the price for what you get 13-15... dollars. This is the type of food I grew up eating. Farm food if you will. No need for menus here, pick your entree and theywill take care of the rest. And, quickly I might add. I have to knock them on the unseasoned green beans. Stopped here for lunch and tried the rueben sandwich and the fried chicken. The sandwich was good and the chicken was well... season and moist. The stars of the place though were their pies. We tried the chocolate pie topped with merengue and it wasexcellent. They don't take credit cards but they can do venmo and they also have an ATM on the premises. Read more
