We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who's staying in the Highland area. The 5 stars isn't because it's "fine dining" -... as in an upscale New York or Tokyo culinary destination - but because the meals we ordered, the ambiance, and the service, werereally, really good for this little town and for the prices they charged. We started with the fried zucchini and can honestlysay it's the best we've ever had! We then shared the "Veal Vigneto", which is veal topped with eggplant, sautéed spinach,ricotta, mozzarella cheese and marinara. It was SENSATIONAL!!! The Chianti complimented our meal perfectly. We were too full tohave dessert so we finished our meal with Kalua on ice instead (like tiramisu without feeling over the top full). We have eaten here several times and brought many of our friends. This is not a pizza pasta joint. It is a lovely place to dine.... Comfortable ambience. Delicious creative freshly made Italian food. House made pasta and impeccable service from friendlyservice. Highly recommend. Read more
The waiter was friendly and the restaurant was clean. But severely understaffed with only one waiter for a Friday night. The... calamari was a good starter. We both opted for personal gourmet pizzas. My husband enjoyed his veggie personal pizza. I howeverdid NOT GET WHAT I ORDERED. I ordered 4 cheese personal pizza, should of had mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan & gorgonzola. Forwhatever reason it had chunks of crumbled blue cheese. It was literally disgusting and inedible. The blue cheese was so strongit took over the entire flavor of the pizza. Our waiter not once came back to refill our drinks or ask us how we were doing orif we liked the food. A lady came by to clear our dishes and asked if I we needed a takeout container since I only ate one sliceof my pizza. I then told her nicely that it was not what I ordered and that it was inedible. She cleared the dishes and nevercame back. The waiter finally appeared at our table with the check which is sad because we were going to order tiramisu fordessert. We just paid the bill and left. We have dined there before and always enjoyed the meal. I don't think we will ever goback. Read more

First time diner here. Looked great online when I was looking around. Water and ice tasted horrible. Waiter was a great guy.... Food wasn't very flavorful. Plastic found in my salad.
