Editing rating. We have been coming to Los cucos for years. At least once every 2 weeks. We even came with our wedding party... after we got married. This has been our favorite dining out spot. The last couple months it has just been going downhill, butafter last week, we will not be going back. It was terrible service and worse food. I am saddened because this place has becomekind of special to us, and I even refer everyone I host from out of town. Over the past few months, the servers have becomehostile and negligent and the food just seems rushed and is often wrong. Check out my order of nachos from this most recentvisit. We were seated and no one came to our table. A server passed up several times and still did not stop. We figured shewasn't our server, so we continued to wait. After a few minutes another table was sat and the server went to them, got theirdrink order, and they were promptly brought chips and salsa. We continued to wait there for a few more minutes until I walkedover to the server area and asked if we were going to be greeted. The woman that has not acknowledged us at all, and took theother table before us informed me that she'd be over in a minute. It was all down hill after that and we really tried to justenjoy ourselves, but then the food came out wrong, and my nachos has barely any toppings. I'm not gonna lie. I will never eat here again. I overlooked the outside appearance of this restaurant which looks like it could... be Chernobyl. The food was terrible. Our original waiter (older man with a furry mustache) was slow and not attentive, then heabandoned us when an older Caucasian couple came and he was very attentive with them over us. Thank goodness a younger waiterstepped in to attend to us. Read more
Had made a great review about this place before, but this time when we went. We hardly saw the waiter. And there were not many... customers at the time it was almost empty. When we were ready to pay the bill instead of bringing back our card he stops offathe the bat to talk and laugh before coming to us also the cup of beans where barely warm the tamatillo enchiladas had hardlyany crab meat. So after 20 minutes away and we finally got drinks. Grisela kept getting orders wrong had to get more assistance. My family... visits here often times so this visit was a disappointment. Not only was our reservation incorrect we were placed in the kidsplayground instead of the patio by the bar. Food that wasn?t ours was being brought from table to table. Our food beingdelivered to other tables and then brought to us. Only positive thing was the drinks we were able to get made correctly weregood. With Covid at an all time high it?s very unsanitary and unhealthy. Not only after us informing one of the assistantmanagers that we would like to cancel our food that was visiting other tables and we were receiving other people food they werestill piling random plates on our tables. They tried to charge us for untouched food. We finally were able to get the headmanager on duty. He assisted with certain plates remakes, comping parts of the order.
