Very disappointed with this location. No drive thru service, kiosks to order from and waited 30 mins for shakes. People yelling... at each other in the back and also yelling from the back that "shakes will take 30-45 mins". One lady requested her money backafter seeing an employee making food without gloves on and wiping her hands on her jeans between sandwiches. Maybe I'm oldfashioned but they have really gone down! All the one's South of Indy have closed down. Maybe this is why! Read more
On this particular day the place wasn't Steak and Shake it was only Steak... The lady at the drive thru said she was on crutches... and "she ain't trying to run back and forth making milkshakes.. " although there was plenty of other employees inside that day.Very disappointing and will probably avoid that location and its right outside my own neighborhood.. UPDATE!! I've eaten at 100+ Steak and Shakes in my life and travels and this was Hot, Fresh and Delicious! Best food I've ever had at an... S&S and Best Customer Service too! Burger was good but had a tomato that still had a piece of core in it. Plus the onion rings were all broken. Service was... incredibly slow. I understand they were busy and apparently short staffed, but we were on a road trip and were hoping for aquicker stop. Read more
Order was hot, incorrect and uneatable due to my hating the sauce! Everything else was correct, hot fries. I recommend you avoid... this exit both Steak n Shake and Bob Evans can not get an order correct! Going away hungry to visit another exit. Read more
I had no ideal that Steak 'n Shake no longer has wait staff. Six of us go in to have dinner only to find out I had to enter my... own freaking order for six people. They no longer have malts, they didn't have salads, the pepper juice in the bottles on thetables are gone, no cherry coke flavoring. The steak burgers were over seasoned. The hamburger buns where horrible. Needless tosay I'll never go back and I am fair in my restaurant reviews. Read more
This place was disgusting! Even after using 6 of our cleaning whips there still was food in crevices. the floor looked like it... hadn't been cleaned in a week the dirt and food was caked on. The high chair we had to put a blanket in because it had so muchfood. I will never eat here again and it is my wife's favorite place to eat now it's just a run down mediocre stop. Disappointment: no mushroom swiss any longer? Good: the butter burger is quite good with pickle and onions. It needed mustard.... Had to ask for ketchup. Got only one per order. Still good burgers and fries. Shakes are a cut above other fast food. Read more
