I used to come here often but haven't been here for years since recently for a birthday lunch. I love how you can order... breakfast during lunch hours. Food quality is great and tasted great. Their Eggs Benedict is one of the best around. Service wasgreat. They got all our orders right and the food came out in a timely matter. The only issue we had was that their seasonalpineapple muffin was out and had to order an alternative which I can understand due to its popularity. Since this is my 1st timesince the pandemic and inflation, I do want to point out the price increased only a little but they did lower the proportions.Place seems to be kept clean. My partner and I went to Mimi's a couple of days back in the evening for a late lunch. I have wanted to try this place for years... now. I drive across this location regularly. Ambience was fine. Waitress was friendly and attentive. They had a very extensivemenu. After going through all the options, we decided to order the half chicken plate and Mimi's meat loaf. Both were kindadisappointing. Meat loaf was salty (maybe because of the gravy) and the chicken was dry. We liked the mashed potatoes. TheFrench onion soup was the saving grace. I don't think we will go back. Haven?t been to this location in years. Honestly thought they closed down. Came here on a Saturday for a late breakfast/early... lunch. They were a little busy but the food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken pot pie. It was very fresh butcould?ve used a little salt. This place is a nice place for brunch. Overall: I did not see much of the ?French? it claims in the food or place, but if you... consider it closer to an American diner in an old house, it is ok. The place itself was clean and nice on a busy Saturdaymorning but we arrived early. Food: The food was good, but nothing that wowed me, and the meals were heavy on the salt in myopinion. The portions were big and hearty and they had a nice variety of American-like breakfast foods. French brunch classicslike croque madame and croque monseiur were missing the menu, and they seemed to like enlgish muffins a lot, and their menu alsooffered corned beef, steak and potatoes, and chicken and waffles. Our Thanksgiving plans changed and we decided last minute to take our party of 8 over to Mimi's. Best decision ever! The food... was phenomenal, the wait was manageable, our server was fantastic, and the manager (Andrew) went above and beyond to make ourvisit feel like we had stepped into a friend's home.
