Company must be hurting. I ordered the Napa Almond (Cranberry) Chicken Salad Sandwich (half). I a lettuce and tomato sandwich... with a bite of chicken, one cranberry, and single slice of almond. After this poor expierence, I spent some time checking outother reviews. Turns out all the 5-star reviews are written by folks who leave only 5-star reviews (with an occasional 4-star,probably to throw us all off. Tricky, right). Somebody needs to be assigned floor duty more regularly. But when we asked if someone could clean off the tables, they... respectfully obliged. The food was delicious. Bring back the lobster mac and cheese. Omg! It would have been my addiction hadyou kept it on the menu. The bathrooms were cleaner than the front entrance of the restaurant. This is a busy Panera location, especially with the large number of pickup orders. I will say, however, that I always have a... pleasant dining experience when I eat at Panera in Jessup. I have a regular Thursday lunch business appointment, and myassociate and I look forward to our weekly meetings. My favorite server is Julia because of her efficiency and quick smile. Short version: the Black Iced Tea is in a dirty container for at least the last 3 months. White slime and sour taste to tea.... Looks like they leave tea in container overnight and ?top off? each day. Or, they simply do not clean/sanitizecontainer. Please. Just clean the darn tea thing! I?m southern and former restaurant worker - I know black tea and I know whatthe white slime is in the container, it?s not a normal thing! Quick tip, if your tea has a sour twang to it, that?s theslime/mold. That goes for fast food restaurants too. Details: So it?s applicable to review that I have the sip-subscription. Idrive over 20% of MD for work, so frequently Panera is my office-away-from-home. For this location, I alerted the staff and metindifference. Next, I sent a complaint through corporate channel specifically saying I do not wish to do a public review. Now,here I am. This is over at least 3 months, I think longer but being conservative on my estimate. The corners always have thebuildup, it?s gotten up sides of container. And THEN for a while you could see marks where someone half-wiped container anddidn?t get to the bottom. I?m not sure at this point why I continue to patronize Panera Bread. Today will be my very last time regardless of location. I... woke up this morning and did not have time to prepare breakfast so I went to the local Panera that was 10 mins away from me. Infull transparency this was probably my 5th time here in a span of two weeks. Each time I order a spinach avocado egg white. Eachtime I watch the portion size of the avocado decrease. Today it was a laughably small portion for a $5 sandwich. I called toexpress my disappointment and reached Jim, one of the managers and he was extremely rude and condescending. He initially didnothing to address my concern and stated that it was the correct size of avocado. That?s interesting that you can make thatclaim without actually seeing the sandwich. I further explained that I frequently order this sandwich and the amount put on ittoday was beyond unacceptable. He replies with making sure the kitchen staff puts the proper amount. I ask him if the sandwichcan be remade and he tells me no but he will give me the missing avocado. What? Absolutely horrible service so bad to the pointwhere I left my office and drove back to request a refund. I was due 5.18 but was only given 5.15.
