Got rid of the real sprinkles, not happy about that since my order is always birthday cake remix! I think the staff enjoys their... jobs, they were somewhat friendly but also it was closing time when we arrived. I am sure they had a long day creating ice creamdreams! Aiden was absolutely phenomenal. His customer service skills are ON POINT!!! A true gentleman. Great personality with a great... smile. We've had IC at roughly 16 different locations and this one was the worst. With all the negative reviews, why hasn't CS pulled... this franchisees license!?? Time for Undercover Boss! ???? Please sell/give me this franchise. I will have this place turnedaround within 2 weeks of your training course. Cold stone is far too good a brand to ruin by an owners lack of management. went to cold stone to in kenosha to get ice cream with my friend. after making a very hard decision, i chose the cake batter... shake. after a good 3 minutes the workers handed me my shake dripping down the sides and the lid didn?t even fit. it was adisgusting mess. nothing was done about it and i pretty much used half their napkins to clean it for them. but at least ittasted good. Always good ice cream and fun new flavors for each month. Staff could be a little better, but I understand because they were... understaffed. However, there was one day, they had opened and we went inside, we waited like 10 minutes for someone to help us,but no one was around. Like we called for someone and no one answered and we saw someone open the store. We even waited a fewminutes after they opened to get situated before we came in. Unfortunately we weren't helped that day and we left. But everother time we went, it was busy and service was great. We just went on a bad day. So, I suggest if you want ice cream, don'tcome right when they open, come a little later. Read more
Great ice cream and there are soo many flavor and topping combinations! The wait in line can be very long at times but I'd say... it's worth it. Prices are high and the staff are way underpaid so I'm taking a start away for that reason. Read more
If ever you're in the mood for ice cream, this is one way I highly recommend to do it. I've heard it a few times from ppl out... there that they are too pricy but you are paying for high quality. Superior quality ice cream with a variety of cones/bowls forthe start and ends with an extensive array of toppings. As far as its closest competitor, the only other franchise competitionI can think of would be Oberweis which is mainly in the Chicago area. Venue is always kept clean and customer service remainstop notch. Glad they remain open for take out during these dark days. As long as CSC continues to create their tasty gourmetice cream and maintain their friendly service, I will continue to pop in whenever I have that craving. Read more
The girl working today (9/3) was so sweet ! She literally made my day as I was picking up an order. You definitely need more... employees like her ! Also I noticed the boy working was friendly as well. They were working so well under pressure ! Howevercold stone needs to raise their wages in order to increase their employees because you could tell they were short staffed andnobody should still be working for $10/$12 an hour. And anything under that is just sad. Read more
