*Got Sick* First time ever eating Popeye chicken and my last! I ordered 2 pc chicken and thought their chicken tasted not that... great.. took 5-6 bites and left it there. Wondered if it was the batter or spices that made it taste disgusting so i Made myboyfriend take a bite and he confirmed it was off. How can you let chicken be off when that?s your main meal in a restaurant??!My other piece tasted normal but i was left with that funky taste from the first one all day. STAY AWAY!! Horrible service. I'd give zero stars if I could. Ordered 14 piece chicken family meal. 4 pieces mild 10 spicy. Got... home after a 30 min drive, I then find out that the 4 piece mild chicken was missing. Phoned back and the worker apologized andoffer to make a note of it and said I can go back the next day to pick the rest up. Went back the next day and the manager tellsme the worker can't make that call. Utterly unacceptable treatment of customer for 4 pieces of chicken. They just permanentlylost a long time customer. If the HQ is monitoring how this franchise location is destroying the image of the brand, they shoulddo something about it. Made a complaint to the HQ, that is pretty useless as well. Had an order of ghost pepper wings and chicken nuggets. The wings took so long. About 5 to 6 orders after me and got theirs and... left. The girl behind the counter finally told me it would be a few more minutes about 1 minute before she gave me my order. Shecould have mentioned at the beginning it would be longer to get. Love their batter. So crisp and clean feeling (despite the fact that its still fried chicken) Coming from MTL theres no Popeyes... so for me it always a treat. Food was great. Had a better experience with their biscuits than other Popeyes. Fries were great aswell! We have a tender order and a 3pc. Was all around juicy and ?tender? with a nice crisp skin. Place felt clean.
