Really good food. I order the brisket with coleslaw and potato salad, was great ????????. Good ambiance and plenty of tables.... They also have a nice patio for the cooler days. Things to know: . Food was amazing and was seated as soon as I entered the restaurant. Service was spectacular and food was well cooked and... quickly served. Delicious BBQ! Ribs were moist and fall-off-the bone tender, brisket melts in your mouth, pulled pork was a tad dry but very... tasty, pulled chicken was good too. Sweet potato fries were delicious, crunchy on the outside, soft inside and waffle cut.French fries were even outstanding. Sweet tea was a true southern sweet tea. We loved this restaurant so much that we ate dinner here 2 days in a row.. I had pulled pork. My husband ate ribs. Among the... sides we tried were potato salad, green beans, sweet potato fries, fried okra, fries, and baked beans. Everything was deliciousand the servers were great. We ate at this location before and it waa horrible! That was then and this experience was totally different! Our server was just... so pleasant. Food was great! My only complaint was the serving size of the Buffalo Chicken Dip. The dip was great, just toosmall for $8 Read more
Awesome staff. Was immediately greeted and seated when walking in. Food was affordable and delicious. Restaurant was very clean... even restrooms. Alongside great food, they have a fully stocked bar. Restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating thatoverlooks the park. Has a rock theme and is decorated very well. This is a great place for everyone to enjoy. Also believe I raninto the owner as soon as I walked In and he stopped what he was doing to make sure he greeted me and made me feel welcome.Great food, great people. Read more
We attended a Private Event - wedding at Big John?s and we really enjoyed the venue. The party was for 50 people. There was a... buffet, music, dancing, drinks, and very festive. The deck was available as well. We had a delicious meal including BBQ varietyof meats, salads- cole slaw & potato salad, baked beans, Texas style toast, fried okra, and other delicious sides. The brisketwas so tender it was eaten with a fork no knife needed. The staff was friendly and assisted in anyway requested. We willdefinitely be back- and we would recommend holding an event there. Read a lot about this place and decided to check it out. Decided to have the Sampler to be able to get a good view of what they... do. First the sides. I had the Macaroni and cheese which was a blend of Monterey Jack and a couple of other cheeses, it wasn'tanything special. The greens were mixed with some chopped onions and small amount of vinegar which made it pretty generic. Thebest of the sides were the baked beans, made with a thick sauce and just right amount of sweetness, I would probably smoke themto get a better flavor. On to the meats. You get a sampling of chicken, pork, brisket and a rib. All smoked with hickory and oakwoods. All were nice and moist with a very slight flavor to it. The star of the show had to be the burnt ends though, they wereoff the chart.Flavorful and super tasty. My server was Ike and he was all over it, explaining the menu and do refillsappropriately.
