Didn't get a chance to place our order before leaving. The person that was doing the toppings was nodding out and almost threw... up 2 times. Not to mention, I'm not a regular customer at this place, but it seems to me that they can wait on more than oneperson at a time. Read more
This Jersey Mikes in the Villages made my two hoagies pretty much like the Jersey Mikes in Inverness, which is about 30 miles... less, but I happened to be in the Villages area. I must say that their slicing machine is set for Much thinner slicing than mineor the one in Inverness. But is was still good. Read more
This has to be one of the worst stores we have been to. 6 people on duty but 1 working, one manager filling mayo bottles. One... cleaning the grill at 5pm. Dirty floors, lettuce all over the work floor area, a huge glob of mayo that everyone steppedover. The wheat bread was hard and stale. My wife threw most of it away. We were on the road to home before she tried it. Welove JM subs, but this store needs more training, better supervision and a crew that cares about the customers. I have always loved Jersey Mike?s, they make a fantastic chicken Philly. But my experience there tonight was really... disappointing. First of all it took forever to get our food even though they weren?t really that busy. Second of all, the foodreally wasn?t up to par, nowhere near as good as usual. Third, the place was disgustingly filthy. Not a clean table to be found,my husband had to wet some napkins and scrub one. Food under all of the tables. Glass looked like it hadn?t been cleaned inweeks. The mess behind the counter was unbelievable. Just really a disappointment. I don?t know if management has changed? Disgusting sandwiches and attitudes from the staff . I waited an hour to pick up an order that was supposed to be done in 15... minutes only to be told that they didn't have an ingredient for our food. Nobody even mentioned it to us until we came up to theregister and complained, at which point we agreed to have our order prepared without it. 10 more minutes in the store passeduntil we mentioned yet again that our order hadn't been prepared. It was at this time one of the young kids behind the countermade a disrespectful comment to the woman I had came into the store with. All the while this is happening I am witnesseing astaff member rinsing meats off of in a hand washing sink from one customers sandwich and placing them in another , and anotherstaff member dab water off a sandwich with dirty paper towels. I have never seen more food safety procedures be intentionallyviolated at the same time in my whole life . Absolutely horrid place to eat . I will be speaking to management. Read more
Jersey Mike's is a nice made-to-order Sub Shop. They have their Special Subs and you can have them Mike's way or your way. ... They have a mini, small and full sized subs. They also have wraps. And you can add a drink and chips to your order for a'meal'. Every sub is made fresh with the coldcuts and cheese sliced fresh just for your order. Our guest had a Philly SteakSub, Jack had the Capicola and I had the Veggie. The Philly was very good but the only complaint was they make them in the backso there was no option for adding an ingredient. The Capicola was excellent, just the way it was ordered. When I ordered theVeggie, the gentleman who made my sub first thoroughly cleaned the slicer as it was used for both cold cuts and cheese. Animportant thing for Vegetarians so it was very nice it was done automatically. And it was a very good sub. Just wish they hadolives or peppers to add to the sandwich. But all in all a very nice lunch was had by all. The restaurant itself has handicapaccessible parking entrance and restrooms. Expensive but excellent. Needs more cheese. I'm from southern New Jersey and have eaten at nuumerous Deli's that make great... cheese steaks. I definitely an expert on the subject and they must add a pizza steak to the menu. Read more
