We jave dined at RC at various locations in the metro area and Florida. Manhattan is tops. However, this is not a negative... review but one that cannot be described as exceptional. The interior design lacks warmth. The staff was courteous and attentive,yet not enthusiastic for a saturday night. I mean, a server is going home with $500 to $1000 tonight and I am happy to lay iton, but the vibe was business like compared to other locations. The food was exceptionally prepared and presentation wasordinary. The sea bass was prrfect, the prix fix of appetizer, filet with shrimp, vreamed spinach and cheesecake is a deal notto be missed. I recently dined in at the Ruth’s Chris of Lake Grove. My date and I were greeted with warm smiles & were sat quite... quickly. My server Tony was knowledgeable not only about the menu but the history of Ruth’s Chris. Our meals were amazing andTony reminded us about the hot plate. When we were finished our “server assistant” Noah was quite personable and friendlywhile taking away our plates. We skipped dessert but will definitely try and leave room for the sin cake next time. First time at a Ruth Chris Steak House. This Lake Grove location is relatively new. Everything inside was pristine. We were... promptly greeted and seated. Was a little sticker-shocked at first, but like anything in life you get what you pay for. Ended upspending a little more than $80 per person (without drinks) and what I got for that was an excellent, attentive wait staff andperfection from the kitchen. went here for dinner on 5/8/22[ mothers day] with my brother and i. we were cheerfuly seated in the bar area, and choose to sit... at the bar, restaurant is beautiful ! we were greeted by MICHAEL the bar tender and the drinks were BIG and made perfect! bartender KYLE CAME ON THE SCENE AND EXPLAINED THE HOLIDAY PRIXFIX MENU -very helpful young man! started with the stuffed mushrooms,then caesar salad and lobster tails and steak, side dishes - creamed spinach and mashed potatos, desert was BREADPUDDING-everything DELICIOUS ! even the server who served our food pleasantly greeted us-i give this restaurant five stars wecant wait to go back !! all the staff are pleasant and professional -THANK YOU Read more
I had a mixed experience here. The food was very good and cooked to prefection. The theatrics of the steak being served on a... sizzling hot plate of melted butter was very amusing and new to me and my wife. We both enjoyed our tasty steaks and my wife whoordered a creamy sweet potato side dish, enjoyed that as well. I have to say though, the service could've been a little better.We were one of only four couples in the restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon and our waitress disappeared after every interaction.That wasn't a big deal after she took our orders and brought out our water and food, but when it was time to pay, she gave usthe check and vanished even though i was just about to pull out my card and give it to her. I wanted to pay and leave because wewere seeing a movie in a few minutes, but she was gone before we could give her our money. Where she went, considering she wasntat one of the other only 4 tables with diners at them, i don't know. But we had to give our card to another waitress passing byjust so we could get out of there on time. As for the price, two 16oz steaks with only one small side of creamy sweet potato andcomplimentary waters, came out to 175$. I mean, Jesus! As good as the steak was, I didn't have any sides because of the expense,and despite what you'd think, a 16oz steak is not particularly huge or filling, so I was still hungry afterwards. Thank god wehad candy at our movie later on. This is a good place to try once and never go back to again frankly. It just isn't good enoughto warrant a second visit. Go to Texas de Brazil instead. I really do not review restaurants much but this time I have to. Easter Sunday I went to Ruth Chris for the third time, the... service this time was not acceptable. I am not sure if the waitress was having a bad day or this is the how she usually worksbut management should look into this. Everything was fine at the beginning but as the dinner progressed she was less attentivewhen time came to ask for a to go bag she packed our food next to our table, she threw the bag in top of the middle of thetable like it was a piece of garbage. second I ask for dessert and she grabbed a handful of silverware and threw it at the edgeof the table where my son was sitting. I think we deserve a little more respect. Tatiana if you are having a bad day yourproblems should stay away from work or you should change your job. By the way picture is attached to this review. I've been to Ruth's around the country with a pretty consistent experience. Tonight we had an ok experience. - Lobster... bisque, watery and bland - Brussels and garlic potatoes, ok - Shrimp that came with our steak, awefill, small, warm, and bland -Plates and glasses; filthy - However, NY strip and two Fillets... My fillet was cooked perfectly! So tender and so flavorful! I ordered it medium rare and it was perfect! The crab cakes were OMG... so good! All crabmeat! The bartender was very attentive and pleasant. The place was immaculate and our corner booth was verycomfortable. I love that we have a Ruth Chris right near the mall. Will definitely be back again!
