The food was delicious! Flavorful and well portioned. Initially when we arrived, the staff at the front was not friendly. She... did greet us or make us feel welcomed. Our server, on the other hand, was fantastic! She was attentive and made the diningexperience worth going back for. The atmosphere was cozy and felt authentic. I had a meal with my wife. We are from Mexican background and we can say that the food is far from authentic. Tortillas were dry... and cold. The sauce on the enchiladas was not sufficient. I grew up in a restaurant. It is VERY rare I leave a bad review for a restaurant. I'm not sure I've ever left a review. Anyway,... the food tasted like addicts were preparing it. I ordered from uber eats and the lids were literally all coming off, the bagwasn't even stapled shut. Wide open. I am physically sick and I'm not sure if it's my nerves or the few bites I did take. I meannot one single thing they sent was good. NoT 1 and i spent 80 bucks. I'm so sorry to go on and on. I could never serve anyonethis food I mean it was bad. What if their kitchen is dirty. AMAZING FOOD!! Just ordered takeout from this restaurant for the first time and I am so impressed. The food was very fresh.... Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Visually not appetizing at all when you order take-out. Also, portions are small and food taste bland. Chewed into a bone as... well in my enchilada that's supposed to be shredded chicken.. so yeah definitely would not recommend this place. Excellent! El Rodeo had an expansive menu that featured many different and unique Mexican dishes. Everyone in my party was very... satisfied with their dishes. I chose the Hawaiian Fajitas Texanas and it was fantastic! Because this is an authentic Mexicanrestaurant, there was a slight language barrier between the wait staff and customers, but this was not difficult to get around.Otherwise, El Rodeo was great and we'll be back soon for another delicious meal! I used to go there a lot about 4 years ago and whenever I would order the Santa Fe nachos like they would give you around plate... and feel that plate all the way around and for the price it was awesome. I went there recently and ordered the same thing Ialways ordered and they brought me an oval shape plate and can you not portion was barely for one person. Like I ended up havingto order something else to go just to feel full. Read more
