This place gets super busy on hotter days and this location is minimal staffed. They have a manager, drive thru worker/ meal... preper, and one person making smoothies. This is the first time I tried Tropical Smoothie Cafe with my family. They were slammedwith about 5-8 cars in their drive thru and several ppl inside. The two staff members on the line were doing there best to pushmeals and drinks out, but were struggling. The manager was not assisting them at all and was off in the back or outside for the45min period we waited. Not sure what kind of manager walks out on a busy day when drive thru orders were taking 13+ minutes.Drinks came out good and those two girls kept working diligently and maintained their cool with grouchy customers. Bright natural light. Soft colors making the atmosphere relaxing. Nice staff. Delicious Thai wrap and sunrise smoothie. Clean.
Come here for the smoothies and not the food. Got a sunshine smoothie which was great and better than expected. The bowl and... wrap I got were underwhelming. The bowl had almost raw rice, the kind from a boil in bag rice, but missing the cooked part. Thewrap was good but had some bites of just chunks of cheese which gave a very off flavor. This was the healthier place to eat and find juice smoothies. Had a chicken quesadilla and a avocolada Smoothie. That Smoothie... is the best! Staff and service are great, always a hello and smiling face. Fast serving of your order. Place is convenientlylocated and easy to get in and out. Has a drive through but found it to be slower that ordering inside. Read more
Overall, a great place to get some healthy decent tasting food, however, they are inconsistent in their smoothie making. I asked... for the same thing three days in a row since I'm getting ready for a PT test and would like to stay on the lighter side and Iget an ice packed slush only edible via spoon or if you have a heater to melt it. I've gotten it good 50 percent of the time,that's unfortunate and a bit annoying if you wait to get to your office to drink and see the issue. Read more
