Place was busy, but that is usually a sign of some good food. And it was.

Jackson made our first experience at Cactus Grill EXCEPTIONAL!!! The queso was fantastic, the salsa was perfect and his... customer service went above and beyond any restaurant bartender or server we have dined with to date. Friendly, helpful, timelyand perfection are all I can say about Jackson and the experience we had at Cactus Grill. Thank you for making our visit thebee's knee's! Read more

Pros: 1) Best Queso we?ve had in Kansas City (Queso Blanco) 2) Friendly staff 3) Fairly good tamale 4) Good burrito if you get... the sauce on the side (prevents it becoming soggy) Cons: 1) Soggy Chimichanga (similar to Jose Peppers, which makes sense) 2)Average general flavor and general sort of feel 3) Expensive ($14-$15 for a single burrito plate) Read more

I ate at Cactus Grill for the first time last week and absolutely loved it! It's delicious; what I would consider elevated... Mexican food, but not pricey! The atmosphere is fantastic too...perfect for a girls night or happy hour but I also saw lots offamilies having fun too. (Oh and great cocktails too! ????) Read more

Food was great!! Chips were thin and warm, salsa was tasty!! Only downfall was the waiter. He was not very personable, talked... very quickly and abrupt, hard to understand and acted like it was just a job that he did not want to do. Not sure if he washaving an off day? We will go back as we enjoyed everything else!! Read more

This evening, I patronized Cactus Grill on 118th & Roe, in Leawwod, KS, and it didn't disappoint. The server was pleasant and... attentive. The shrimp fajitas were delicious, and the booths are spacious. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. The burritobowl that someone in my party consumed, looked so good. I will definitely be back again. Read more

I have eaten here multiple times, decent food. Thank you so much Veronica for all of your recommendations! I have loved it all... so far...the Rockstar Margarita is my favorite drink, loved the black salt on the rim of the glass. The Chicken Avocadoenchiladas were fire, along with the best queso cheese dip I?ve had in a long time. Order the churros for dessert! Loved theatmosphere in this restaurant as well. The bar on the other side of the restaurant was nice. Read more
