Barbecue is not a perfect science so the first time I tried (pulled, ribs), I thought it was the best bbq I have ever had. So... the second time I tried their bbq (pulled, ribs) it was every bit a good as the first time. I like how the sauce comes insealed bags. The sauce is tasty and enhances the flavor of the meat. This used to be the place to eat, was absolutely delicious!!! They have new owners now and they've changed a few things. I don't... understand why you would come in and start changing things that obviously working great as they are!!!! It really doesn't evencompare to before. Of course that's just my opinion. Read more
I lived in Lewisburg over a decade ago, and my husband and I used to eat here regularly! I would have given it 5 stars then, and... I am still giving it 5 stars! My only complaint is that there aren't more of them in the South. We need a Lawler's BBQ in NC!The meat is killer, sauce is killer, and the loaded baked potatoes are top notch. Great Ribs for a decent price. Coming from out of town it is worth the stop even if the line is long. Downside no place to eat... on property. But I would still go back! Read more
