If you gone look directly in my face.. you may as well acknowledge the fact that I have been standing there 10 minutes waiting... to place a To Go order..... not turn your head as if I am not even there and go on about your business. Oh the benefits of simplicity. I just asked my wife if she has EVER been to a Waffle House and been surprised by the food. She... said, "no." It's true. Every Waffle House is the same. I believe it is the most consistent chain of restaurants of all time. Ifyou like Waffle House, that is a great thing. I like Waffle House so I like that they are all the same. I like Waffle House but this one earned only three stars because of lack of smiles an enthusiasm. The lady that served me placed... my cup of coffee on the opposite side of the table add she set it down, I almost walked out when I saw that but decided to stayand eat, she later came and delivered my plate of hash browns with steak and cheese and she placed it on the table along withthe bill and again no smile, I gave her one last opportunity as I asked her to refill my cup of coffee and again no smile andthat was the last time she came to my table. I live half a mile away and at night, the only two places open are waffle house or taco bell. In the last week I've been to this... location 3 times. They have told me the exact same thing " we aren't taking orders for tge next 30 minutes, we are all on break". ( i worked at waffle house for 2 years.. that is not how that works). It's better to go during the day they don't make you wait and are not rude. night shift is ALWAYS on break or it will be a... moment because someone is taking a smoke. I eat late night due to being pregnant but it looks like I will have to find adifferent location or establishment altogether because they don't like to work at night. I haven't purchased anything tonightbecause they were on break.. But when I do go to waffle house I spend almost 50 dollars or more because I'm eating for 2 plus myhusband and if the kids are home that's another 20-30 dollars. No more. Read more
So this is another one of my favorite Waffle House's to dine at whether it be in the morning or overnight. They always get my... order right, The waitresses are very kind polite and most of all attentive. When push comes to shove I'm always going to thislocation and is not that far from where I live, I have yet to have a bad experience and that's saying a lot and that is a goodthing. Read more
