They seem like they're just waiting to go out of business. Extremely poor service didn't give much hope of good food.... Surprisingly the Ruben I had and the fries that came with it we're very good half the soda was out counterstaff wasdisinterested, the only thing they have going for him is the food itself, sadly it just isn't enough to overcome everythingelse. I really wanted to like this place. But unfortunately I cannot give this place a good review. I'm all for supporting local small... business but you also have to be serving a quality product. I went there for the first time yesterday after hearing that theydropped their prices last week in response to inflation. They took a counter cultural approach by lowering prices despite risingcosts. A rousing story to be sure so I thought "I'm gonna go support them!" I was already a little wary because that locationhas a really hit or miss history with pizza places but "hey, they're not the same owners so let's give a shot." I thought. Thefood: first and foremost I want to state that I like pizza... A lot. So much some that there isn't a pizza joint in Abilene Ihaven't eaten at. I've also eaten pizza all over the world and across the US. So I have a really strong data set to compare thisrestaurant's pizza against. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the pizza. For $14 and some change I got a 12-inchhyper-generic cheese pizza when I ordered a pepperoni pizza (my go-to order at new places). When it was brought to my tablethere was no pepperoni and I noted that to the server who promptly took it back to the kitchen. A few minutes later she returnedwith the same pizza but the cook had slapped some pepperoni on top and put it back through the oven. So what I got was a overcooked, almost burnt, cheese pizza with undercooked pepperoni on top. The evidence was that the pepperoni over lapped the cutsin the pizza and were not cut at all. The dough was something akin to a Tombstone frozen pizza. I think Red Baron does theircrusts better. The cheese was standard. The sauce was almost non-existent. The pizza was edible but extremely low quality andall the ingredients tasted pre-frozen. I very much doubt the pizza crusts are hand made daily. The Price: I really honestlyfeel that they are massively over charging for their food. I get that they don't have the corporat Read more

Some of these reviews are for Llano location so to be clear this is for the Abilene Location where the original owners are.... Honestly quite good and given food costs these days, fairly priced. I love pizza cooked in a brick oven. You get a more toastycrust with a little crunch. Our pizza was perfect with good distribution of toppings and just the right amount of cheese. Sidesalad as crisp and fresh. Service was friendly. Looking forward to trying other items from the menu. Read more

Not impressed with the quality of the food. I had the pizza from the pizza bar and a salad and it just was not good, especially... for the price. I found it to be over priced, however I think they have lowered the price since my last visit so that may makeeating here again worthwhile. Overall just mediocre pizza/salad. Perhaps their burgers and wings are more impressive, but afterexperiencing a poor meal here once I don?t see myself returning. Read more

Ordered mozzarella cheese sticks and a large create your own pizza.. From the pictures we had been seeing, the cheese sticks... looked house made. Not house made. Just normal frozen fried ones. Not bad, but not amazing either. The Jalapeño ranch diptasted great but was super liquid/runny/watered down. The pizza was good, could not taste the "wood oven" cooking at all, andthe dough was burnt and burnt tasting on the outer crust and very chewy towards the middle. For almost $39 dollars ???? notworth it. We drank water, so that was for just those two items. The young man even forgot our ibuyAbilene discount! Read more

Stopping through on the way to California this place saved our lives, from easy ordering, to absolute great customer service and... curbside pickup. Last but not least, THE PIZZA WAS AMAZING!!!!! THANK YOU!!!! Read more

We came through Llano on a day trip and ate at Stonewall for dinner at 6pm on a Saturday. There were only 3 other families... there, but service was quite slow. The food was mediocre. No vegetarian burger option. A number of things on their menu were notactually available (no salad bar, no house dressing). Super limited wing sauce menu (I think the place next door would have beenbetter in this regard). Salad was iceberg lettuce and underwhelming. The pizza flavor (BBQ chicken) was really good, but therewas too much crust:pizza ratio and the crust was only okay. We much preferred the pizza and experience at Mesquite Pizza andwill skip eating at Stonewall in the future. Read more
