When you need to get something to eat for your energy supply after fishing, this A&W will be the best choice. The whole period... is fine, just the drive-thru is a little narrow, but when staff put everything you just order into your vehicle that looksgood. Read more

Okay --- I was so happy when I heard that A&W was bringing back their whistle Dog!!! We went and we got a Whistle Dog, a baby... hamburger [for the dog] a Mama Burger and onion rings as well as fries. Onion rings were okay [pretty greasy ] fries were aboutthe same ,Mama was so-so ,but my beloved WHISTLE DOG was awful. I gave almost all of it to the dog -- Sorry Dog . It wasn'ttoasted ,it was soggy. The hot dog itself tasted cheap and had some kind of weird smoked sauce on it that was gag worthy . ThisA&W is not good and we have tried it a number of times to be sure it wasn't just an off day .The only A%W we will go to is theone on highway 207 and hopefully it is as good as it used to be . Lockport A&W should be given a pass . The place used to looknice too ,but it is not landscaped and weeds abound . At least try to make it inviting [?] Service is not all that great either. A&W wants you to use their app. Don't do it. Ordered at 6:15 for curbside from across the parking lot. At 6:45 I walked in to... find out what was going on. They told me they didn't get the order. When I walked in I noticed a sign on the door saying theywere out of whistle dogs which I ordered plus a burger. After leaving me sit for half an hour, they had no intention of eveninforming me that there was a problem with the order. Good thing I went in, the manager and staff argued with me about thecontent of the order and tried to spin it as my fault. This isn't the first time with this location. I'm still waiting for thecredit they promised me for screwing up my order last year, lol. Horrible unaccountable management. Read more

Not much selection in the area if you are in a rush. But A&W is a pretty good choice. Classic burgers and even some new twists... for people who don't eat meat or have other dietary restrictions they're pretty welcoming to everybody with their menu. Read more

My husband and I arrived at the drive thru on May 7th at approximately 8:45pm. There was no one in line and there was one other... vehicle in the parking lot. No one else in resturant. We ordered 2 teen burger combos with our coupon(subbed one teen burger fora mozza) and upgraded to onion rings. We paid for our meal and was told to pull to stall one as our food was being prepared. Wewaited for about 5 mins for our food and this is how our food came to us. First we noticed both burgers were teen burgers. Myhusband's burger (which was suppose to be a mozza) was a teen burger. We noticed also that the bun was wet and the entire burgerand burger bag was drenched in ketchup, mustard and mayo. He went inside the resturant with the receipt and showed it to them.The lady threw out the burger and asked the cook to make a mozza burger. While he was waiting, my teen burger was drenched insauces also(see bottom of the burger covered in mustard and the inside of the bag i tried to remove most of the sauces off theveggies but it was soaked). Then my husband came back after they remade his burger and as he opend the bag, the burger was yetAGAIN drenched in sauce and the bun was wet AGAIN. They gave us 1 apple pie for the inconvience. We both were unhappy with ourburgers so we ate as much as we could. Then eating our onion rings.... one of my onion rings was BURNT(see picture below). Insummary, we HIGHLY recommend NOT coming to this location simply because of this experience we had. Very disappointed in the lackof presentation of their food and this is the last time we will be going to this location. We would rather drive into the city,selkirk or deacons corner instead but never coming back here again. Read more
