Flavors were off; does not taste like real Mexican food. The texture of the veggie chicken and asada were pretty good but again... flavors were not good. The worst part was whatever vegan cream they mixed in throughout the chicken tinga burrito; just awfultexture and taste. Also the mild red salsa had the consistency of tomato sauce. Read more

Wish I'd read the reviews before placing an order. I figured burritos were like pizza; you know, even when they're bad, they're... still pretty good. Not the case. Ordered the jackfruit carnitas burrito, and boy was it lacking. In flavor, in texture, ineverything. The hot "diablo" salsa was shockingly bland as well (and not remotely spicy, though that wouldn't be an issue ifthere was some great flavor). I ordered via Postmates. I am on the other side of the city(Hyde park) so it wasn?t fresh (not the restaurant?s fault). I got... one of every taco and they all were solid. The tacos are huge. The fish and chikn tinga were my favorite. The chips tasted housemade. The salsa was solid. The mild and medium salsa were tastier than the Diablo. The Diablo seemed to be hot without thetaste. Meh. Food is ok. Flavor is decent but not great. The Loaded Burrito, which is supposed to be be bigger and heavier than their... other burritos, was *exactly the same size as the others.* That's pretty lame. Tacos are good, but that's mainly because theyare dripping with cheese sauce and sour creme (slather enough fatty sauce on anything and it becomes much tastier). Speaking ofthe cheese sauce, it's got coconut in it (probably oil), which should be avoided at all costs due to the sky-high saturated fatcontent, so..... I think I'm done with Mas Veggies. I had high hopes for this place due to it being in the veggie grill family & man was I disappointed. It was super gross, lacking... flavor, all the salsas taste the same & had a weird vinegar taste to it. We bought 2 of each tacos so we could each have one &the only good one was the ?fish? taco. There was a jackfruit one & it was inedible. I took one bite & spit it out. I?m not oneto leave bad reviews but this place just wasn?t worth it. Especially if you?re looking for Mexican food. This place has no way to contact via phone. I feel I would feel a little at ease if I could speak to a live human about my... order, but I couldn?t. I ordered the jackfruit nachos and the cauliflower taco. My ticket order was clear and they gave me soytaco meat for both orders. I tried to eat because there was no way to exchange, it tasted horrible! I am not sure what wentwrong, but my receipt clearly said what I ordered. Read more
