Oh my God. I love hawaii and Hawaiian food, so I was destined to find this place sooner or later and thank God i did. The bbq... is tender and tasty, and portions go from normal to ridiculous size. I had the breakfast Royal recently and quickly overstoodwhy they call it a Royal, because it?s Majestic. Eggs, char sui, portuguese sausage and vegetables all scrambled together andseasoned to perfection and served over white rice. Simple but perfect. this place is a gem and i?m glad i found it. This is a very cool old School Hawaiian style diner in Culver City. I had to pick my friend up from surgery about 10 minutes... away and we were looking for somewhere to eat on Google maps. This place had some really good reviews so we decided to come andtry it out. We walked in and immediately felt like we were on vacation in Hawaii. Lots of Hawaiian decor and tiki throughout therestaurant. We sat down and ordered some drinks. Then the waitress came over and asked what we wanted to order. I asked her whatis the most popular thing on the menu? She replied that the royales are the best things on the menu. So I ordered the originalroyale with Portuguese sausage pork , fried rice, and eggs. I dressed it up with some soy sauce and some sriracha sauce and boywas it good. I loved every bite and finished the entire plate. My friend was a little bit more simple and ordered the bacon andeggs. He says it was excellent and enjoyed it very much. As far as parking goes you have to park on the street. We got verylucky that there was a space right in front. The restaurant wasn't very busy at all so we've got excellent service and everyonethere was very nice. I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in Culver City. Read more

I finally got to try this place with my partner. The food portions were a good size, I definitely couldn't finish my plate. The... food tasted good, it wasn't terrible, but it didn't knock my socks off. If you're hungry and want to fill your stomach, this isthe place. What sucked about our dining experience was the sheer amount of flies in the restaurant. They were everywhere, hovering around my plate, landing on the rim of my drink, and buzzing near my head. In fact, I saw some even land on people'sfood coming out of the kitchen before the server could wave them off. Afterwards, my partner had a belly ache from the food. Shedidn't eat too much, but, it didn't settle well in her. I was fine. Anyhow, I'm glad I tried it. But, I wouldn't go out of myway to return here. Read more

Grabbed lunch here today. I'm always skeptical of Hawaiian food. This place was good. I had the chili omelette & it was pretty... good. I tried the Kahlua pig & it was pretty good. They fry it up a bit so it has a crunch to the texture which was satisfying. The huli huli chicken was good. They had a pineapple bread pudding with chocolate sauce drizzled on top & that was thehighlight! Overall, the food was good. The prices were reasonable. The service was speedy but not the most friendly. No one wasrude at all. The server was just very matter of fact. Read more

Saw this on DDD and had to try it. Food was very good and as many people have commented, the portions are very generous. The... restaurant is open and airy and has seating both on a streetside patio and a covered patio on the side. TNH, the rainbow shavedice was my fave part, great on a warm day. Overall, great visit and great value. Read more

It was one of my favorite restaurant for Saturday morning breakfast almost every other Saturday I?ve been there for dine in or I... do take out. All the time I paid by cash or credit card but this time was little different. after I finished my breakfast Iasked for the check and I seen there is a bar code and ?SCAN And pay? on the check. So I scan and paid through online and therewas a 15% coupon so I did applied the 15% off coupon while it?s pop up on my screen. Then the old lady came to me and she wasvery rude because I applied 15% off she was kind of yelling at me you should not do this It?s only for the express checking andit?s a full dine in you should not use it. My question is how am I supposed to know that I can?t use this coupon ? While it?spop up before I check out!! You should tell me before or you should remove it from your website/payment processing page if youdon?t want your customers use it. Food was always good no complain but Awful customer service from the old lady. That way shewas acting It?s seems like she was paying from her pocket to the owner this 15% coupon I applied. I?ve been there so many timesbut I never used this coupon that was the first time I used and learned new experience from her. Other waiters was veryfriendly. Read more
