The fish dinner at Captain D's was great, the problem was the drive thru, I pulled in at 3:58 pm, there were 4 cars in front of... me so I'm thinking this won't take to long, 40 minutes I'm ordering m our food, I'm not going to bad mouth the employees, theyare doing the best they can with the help they have. This place was okay maybe I'll try to find a different Captain D's next time the one on Dixie that I went to I had to go back... and get my 6 hush puppies and the cashier was like oh you forgot your hush puppies and I'm like no you forgot to put them in thebag LOL and my fries were cold and my coleslaw was warm LOL Read more
Went to the one on Dixie Hwy. and ordered the family pack, when I arrived home I noticed they only gave me 2 small tarter sauce... (for 10 pieces of fish) I was so upset because they usually give you 2 of the cup size. I don't understand why they just don'tgive you 1 big size of tarter sauce like in the slaw container and if the customer wants more give it to them (without anattitude) in the small container, now isn't that simple. This particular restaurant is a good place to eat at regularly. The quality is consistently good and so is the service. They... haven't charged me for condiments, but I often have to ask for extra in the drive through. Read more
I wish I had taken pictures when I use the word disgusting about this dining room I'm being kind stay away from here at all... costs flies were in the window seal none of the tables were clean the floor was greasy it smelled like sour fish the only reasonI ate there was it was hard getting my mom in and out of the car if she wanted it. Rude staff! While I realize times are tough in terms of hiring staff at fast food restaurants, this location has the rudest... staff I have ever encountered. The last two time I have attempted to order here I left without food - once because it took solong the second because there were ~8 cars in the drive through and though the lobby was open, they told me it was closed andI'd have to go through the drive through (after I stood there waiting to order for about 3 minutes (with three employees rightthere). The food was pretty good around the time I went that day. I give the food a 4 out of 5. The green beans where a bit to watery,... but was okay. The crab cake could have been a bit more fresh. The service was a touch bit below mediocre. I mean it wasn't bad,but it was nothing spectacular about it. I went through the drive-through, and the girl just did her job. Nothing more, nothingless. She had no type of greeting or anything. The service was pretty fast. The place has a parking lot, a nice size lobby, anda drive-thru as I noted earlier. The prices are pretty fair. You can usually find coupons in your junk mail most of the time.The location does seem convenient for wheelchair access. This is a good place to go for reasonable seafood if you're not tryingto spend a ton of money. Overall I give my experience a 3 and a 1/2 to 4 stars. Read more
