My wife and I had a wonderful lunch. I ordered the Jefe Margarita which was one of the best margaritas I?ve ever had. It had... hints of smoke and a rich depth of flavor from the smoked orange. Firstly our server Jade was one of the best and most attendant servers we have ever had ! They checked in at perfect times and... our drinks never ran out . A beautifully designed and well kept restaurant. Live music in the courtyard but we sat inside beside a huge wall painting. The... server was jovial and accommodating. Margaritas were great, as were the food. Got the Pork Tenderloin Abrigada, the tenderloinsdone pretty well and the enchiladas pretty flavorful and filling. Abuelo?s Mexican Restaurant in Lubbock was great! I?ve been waiting to visit and was bummed when the College Station location... closed. I finally was able to go. I went with the Mexican Stack with had a crispy tortilla and I?d get it again. The queso isalso good. There?s a lot I want to try and I?d get drinks next time. Read more
The medallion steak was over cooked. The Stuffed shrimp was very delicious. The Charro beans were lukewarm. The papa's were... tasty. The steak tacos were very good! The Bloody Mary was okay. It was a great experience. I have eaten here MANY times and thought it?s about time to leave a review. I had the chicken fajita... enchiladas with a Skinny Margarita and the dip sampler. It was all hot and fresh and exceptionally delicious. I recommend inperson eating as our to go orders have not been as pleasant. Read more
