In todays word where it seems service is an afterthought, this place was quite refreshing. Actually came by chance as we had... walked in another establishment on Broadway and several employees just walked by us like we weren?t there?not at Atomic. Theplace was busy but we were met immediately and seated. Server took our drink order and then we were constantly met with othersasking if we had been helped or needed anything additional. Super consistent. The smoked tomato sauce they put on their pizza is incredible. The place stays pretty low key most of the time... so is a reliable place to hit if you want a quick dinner. The chicken wings are phenomenal, most of the time. Read more
I was in Lubbock for two weeks for work. Came across Atomic from a quick Google search. Coworkers and I stopped by for supper... and a drink. Ordered a "Black and Red" and the bartender recommended adding pepperoni. It was fired in a pizza oven on castiron. It was fantastic. The balance of sweet and heat was perfect. The blackberries added the perfect sweetness. The crust wasabsolutely perfect. We also had garlic parmesan wings. I ordered a Crown-7 and it was mixed perfectly. The atmosphere was cooland laid back. The service was top notch. You also can't best the prices. I will definitely keep this place on my radar when I'mdown here for work. Read more
My wife and I really enjoyed it. Great looking space. Clean. Staff was friendly. Ordered 2 different pizzas and some garlic parm... wings. Pizzas were flavorful and the wings were tender and tasty. Gotta go back and order the Meat Blimp next time. Read more
The pizza is the best I've found in Lubbock. And it's affordable. You could pay the same amount for a large specialty pizza... from a chain and it wouldn't be half as good, healthy, or as authentic. I'd hold Atomic's QT margarita pizza up to any in Italywhen h lived there. Even more important is the fact that the people who work here care about the quality and taking care oftheir customers. When I goofed and inadvertently ordered two of the same pizza online, the manager could not have been morekind. He had another pizza made to order and refused to let me pay for the order I had screwed up. This place is a gift to thecommunity, supporting the university, students, and residents.
