My wife and I consider ourselves to be BBQ educated. We have traveled the BBQ Trail from Lockhart to Dallas and have tasted BBQ... from all the renowned pits. A small joint in Lubbock was a very pleasant surprise! We were visiting museums in Lubbock and gothungry so we stopped at Bigham's Smokehouse. I got moist, melt in your mouth point meat. Dry rubbed pork ribs, tasty and moist.Pulled pork that was exquisite. The sides were plentiful and the mac and cheese with white cheddar was some of the best I'veeaten. In all honesty, the brisket was better than my own. And I smoke a great brisket. The BBQ here is the best I've had. Iwill definitely return here for BBQ the next ti.e I'm in Lubbock. Read more

They lose a star for being not exactly friendly as far as their service goes but they do slice and dice that meat mighty fine.... The people saying that you don?t get what you pay for have NO idea what they?re talking about. This is one of the betterfood/cost ratios in town and definitely one of the better BBQ joints. I found the sauce to be a little acidic for my liking,lacking in depth and body but other than that the rub on this brisket itself was excellent. My wife?s smoked sausage sandwichhad a pretty good flavor too. The interior is Texan through and through, typical of a BBQ place in this area and is thereby veryhomey and comfortable. As far as sides, the ranch-style beans were some of the best I?ve had, the corn-cob was one of the worstI?ve had, the green chili creamer corn was amazing, as was the baked potato. Soda?s were flat with our togo order also the side item of beans were still crunchy from not being cooked hardly. The brisket... was fatty when ordered lean and 4 skinny strips of meat minus fat for a meat plate. Bread was toasted when ordered untoasted.Wanted to give them a try but was very disappointed.
