Blown. Away. The food was fantastic! The fried brisket is chicken fried smoked brisket, served with cream gravy on Texas... Toast. It's unlike anything we have ever eaten. The pulled pork grille cheese is served on Texas toast that's an inch thick!!The free fresh fried pork skins were a great way to kick off our meal. Beware, though... They don't serve beer, but you canBYOB. Excellent, excellent, excellent!! Read more

The price for the chopped bbq and side reasonable and worth it! Grandma and me ended up sharing bone. So now we have dinner too!... Recommended water and no dessert. 2 BBQ with side, dessert and 2 drinks was 44$ not including tip. Still wanted to treatGrandma (102) in September. She loved it! Due the her age did not want to dine in. Though they don't really do curbside, Iexplained out situation and the quickly and kindly accommodated! I have a feeling we'll be back! Photos are after we divided anddived in. Read more

What happens when there's a frito shortage? The wonderful people from Chopped and Sliced BBQ improvise and create this fun take... on a traditional frito pie using Honey BBQ Fritos (minus the cheese for me)! Let me tell you about how this happened and howawesome these people are: I ordered a regular frito pie with no cheese because I can't have dairy. There was a mistake and theone I had received had cheese on it but I didn't notice until I was home. I gave them a call and they let me know they had givenout the last of their fritos and informed me of the shortage, but they had some Honey BBQ Fritos they could use instead and evenoffered to bring it all to me! I agreed and met them there instead since I don't live far at all (and because of how kind theywere!). They rushed over to their other location to make it and had it ready by the time I got there. I was thrilled to have hassuch a great experience and was excited to try this twist on frito pie since the honey bbq ones are some of my favorite chips. And let me tell you... it's SO Yummy!! Everyone needs to know that they have THE BEST frito pie in town (Yes even better thanBighams who once gave me one with a bolt the size of my finger mixed in- but that's a story for another time????). The fritopie from C&S BBQ comes with one side. There's also pickles and onions mixed in it so if you don't like them, just ask them notto add it but they complement so well with everything if you do like them! All this to say, go getcha some great BBQ (and maybewait a couple days if you want frito pie specially so a shipment can come into Lubbock)! ???? Read more

Due to our original stop being closed, we went the other direction on 50th and found this gem. Every bit of food was great. The... copped beef, the jalapeno sausage, the cracked black pepper sausage, and the sliced brisket. To top it off, the okra was some ofthe best I've had in a long time. And, the baked potato salad is a new favorite. Excellent all around - taste, service, andprice. Read more
