I went there with my wife and we had mixed experiences, hers being very bad. Her silverware needed to be replaced because it... hadn't been properly washed, and her order of fresh l french toast ended up being burnt. There were a lot of customers behind usin line who ended up leaving because there l they were waiting so long to be seated. It looked very understaffed. Our waitresswas nice initially until my wife pointed out how burnt the french toast was, and after that the waitress seemed a bit flustered.I still gave her a tip, because she did seem sweet. I don't blame her. I think management needs to step up their game. I spoketo the manager personally and let him know that he was losing a lot of business, though I understood they were understaffed. Asa franchise, I like Denny's but this store isn't performing well lately. Hopefully, things will improve soon. Read more
If I could give zero stars, I would! Went in on Friday 8/18. There were only 2 other tables there, one had 2 ppl and the other... had 3. This was absolutely not a "peak" time, it was after lunch hours. We were told multiple times, "your food is almost done".Well, 45 minutes later we had to leave. I told our server we just couldn't wait anymore. She goes to the kitchen window & tellsthe cook "Don't make table 9, they don't want their food". Um, excuse me, I did want our food. But, we didn't have 2 hours towait for two burgers & an omelette. (I say 2 hours because that's my estimate on how long it would have been based on how longwe'd already been waiting) We sat there that long and they hadn't even started our order! I don't know how our food was "almostdone" when it hadn't even been started. They charged us for our drinks, which I was ok with because we did drink them. I stilltipped our server because I'm not a jerk. I'd really advise not going to this location unless literally everything else inLubbock is closed, and I hope you're not hungry if you do. P.S. Traveling from Dallas back surgery to Albuquerque, New Mexico. It's always nice to find a Denny's for breakfast. The hotels... have " breakfast " but it usually has powdered eggs and thermos coffee. I had the French toast slam at Denny's in Lubbock, Texas. Great coffee as well. Read more
Ok, the service in general was good, we were checked on and had everything we needed, our order was correct. The food....I'd... rather eat from a dumpster. The sirloin steak tasted like it was boiled in sweat from a gym sock, the "steamed" broccoli lookedlike it was burned??, the pancakes were soggy, the chocolate milk for my son sat for maybe 2 minutes and looked like it had atexture and I've had a microwaved breakfast sandwich that tasted better than the grand-slam-wich. The best part was therestaurant was empty but after that, I see why...if Gorden Ramsey ever dined here, he would drop a deuce on his plate, send itback to the kitchen and advise them to take notes on a proper meal. This place sucks!! We go to get breakfast today. This place was severely understaffed. The floors were dirty , napkins, food... particles everywhere. Cutlery was poorly washed, had to return my fork because it has dry eggs on it. More than 10 tablesneeded to be bussed when we got there. We waited 15 minutes to be seated. I ordered the french toast. It was brought to me semicut, dry and burnt. People were in line for longer and they left (the lucky ones) The worst place ever.!!!Terrible staff,terrible service. My wife and I haven?t gone to Denny?s on Q for years due to terrible customer service. It?s been about 10 years now. We decided... to give it a try and they didn?t disappoint. No smiles, had us standing at the register for a very long time. The place was notbusy and there were numerous tables empty. As I looked around I noticed one table eating and 8 tables with customers sitting,and waiting impatiently for their orders or to place their orders. It?s terrible. This place is in need of NEW Management. Mywife and I decided to leave and soon after that another mother and her daughter walked away as well. Read more
First off I?d like to say that I never do this but this is not right. Im missing the salad I wanted as a side as well as missing... pretty much all the brisket on the sandwich. I get I ordered late but this is unbelievable. Read more
Place was understaffed and wait time to be seated and served was a little longer than other restaurants. Food was good and... reasonable priced. Cook came out and asked if our food had been done correctly as to our request, which gave me a sense of beingat home and cared for. Besides the waiting and understaffed situation, place was decent and served its purpose ????. Read more
