Huddle House was an average breakfast restaurant. They have plenty of options and we decided on omelets, one with a biscuit and... the other with chocolate chip pancakes. The pancakes were pretty good but everything else was just okay, more on the lessflavorful side. The waitresses were really nice and one was going above and beyond to help the newer employees. When you go, be prepared for a wait. They are short staffed like most places but they are doing their absolute best. Our server... was covering several tables but she still went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. Happens almost every time. Yes I doordash because I?m busy. My order should be just as important as if I?m sitting in front of... you. Plater comes with gravy. Not much. If you decide to eat here, be ready to wait ?. Just like most places they are short staffed. Very friendly service and the food... is good. I would not order the Patty Melt again. The Swiss Mushroom ???? Burger was okay. No Coca cola products. Read more
The food was delicious! I finished everything on my plate and was satisfyingly full. It seems they have specials all throughout... the week or at least on most days. We went on a Wednesday and the waitress informed us of their special if we ordered this platewe could get a free waffle or pancake. So we did and the waffle was soo good. Had a nice crisp around the edge and a warm andbuttery taste. As well as the syrup I thought it's viscosity was a little thin but had a nice buttery taste. The staff was veryfriendly and welcoming and the head cook even came by to our table to check up on us which I thought was cool. I enjoyed ourexperience there. I will definitely be back again. We went in Sunday morning 07/31 at around 11:30. When we first walked in we felt a little awkward because the girl at the front... desk looked a little overwhelmed and didn?t greet us. After about 4-5 minutes a wonderful waitress walked up and told us wecould sit at a booth she had just cleaned. I think her name was Jennifer (???? I?m sorry I cannot remember if that is it forsure) and her service was phenomenal. I watched her serve other guests as well and she is very attentive and makes sure everyoneis happy, satisfied and served with the highest quality. She is a gem, especially in this day in age when hard-working people inthe service industry are hard to come by. She suggested we try the apple pie before leaving because she said it is really good.Being the person that I am, I was intrigued and asked her to bring us a slice before our food????. Apple pie is not usually myfirst or even second choice if I?m being honest, but when I tell you that that was the best apple pie I?ve ever had I?m notexaggerating. It was so good we bought an entire pie to take home with us (we live and hour and 1/2 away). When we got our food,and it did not disappoint. I usually expect 1-2 things to be incorrect when going out to eat but EVERYTHING was right andexactly how we ordered and tasted great which made our experience all that much better. Our waitress made sure our drinks werealways filled and didn't make us feel rushed like other places I?ve been to. I am not usually one to write reviews but I reallyfelt like my experience at Huddle House that morning deserved one. We will definitely be going back when we?re in Lubbock again. Read more
