Mamaritas is a great place to eat or pick it up. The service is great inside the girl at the counter at night is Amazing. She... remembers my name and usually knows what I want to order. Turned out to be an expensive lemonade... ordered my food and 35 minutes later I still hadn't gotten my food. Finally they said... they had no idea what happened to my order they said they'd start making it... I just walked out. If that's how you run abusiness then you shouldn't be open. I've been eating mexican (tex-mex) at least once a day, sometimes twice since I came to Lubbock in February. I've tried quite a... few, but I find myself coming back to MamaRita's more often than not. I've never had a bad experience yet, I try something newevery time and have yet to be disappointed. I am so frustrated. Yesterday I went and ordered the "Fajita family style package" all I got was meat, onion, grilled pepper.... Not even tortillas comes with it. The meat was good but don't expect anything else unless you pay extra. I'll go to "Rosa's"next time I want fajita's. Read more
Great food, but mostly clueless drive-through procedures. I always call my order in, then go pick it up because they're not the... fastest place. That works great unless there are other cars in the drive-through. They have designated parking places in whichcars can pull over and await their order, but the restaurant NEVER uses them. So my food sits inside already prepared while Iwait 10 minutes/car in the drive-through behind customers that ordered at the window. It's very frustrating, and to top it alloff, I get food that's been under the heat lamp for 15-20 minutes. Read more
