This is a nice get away to downtown Lubbock. You may be thinking- just another sandwich place. The food, atmosphere, & location... are not what u would expect! Don't take my word - go try it yourself! And check out the Narrow Bar next door too. It's anunexpected treat in itself! Read more
I was so excited to have newks finally here in Lubbock after loving it in San Angelo. The food here was awful. I came with a... group of friends everyone got their food first. After 30 minutes went up to figure out what the hold up was. They said they lostour ticket and it would be another 5 minutes. 25 minutes later we got our food. Won't be back. Read more

Visited for the grand opening and again this week. Was so under impressed by the food, staff and manager. The food tasted awful,... dirty tables throughout and the manager (guy in red shirt) was touching his face then food then head then my salad. I politelyasked them to remake the salad and was given such a rude response of "I already made it" despite me explaining it was a healthviolation to make food without properly sanitizing. Highly disappointed...ordered 2 sandwiches, 2 soups, and 2 drinks...total waste of $32. Sandwiches were nothing like the menu... pictures...not even close to resemblance. The Q sandwich lacked flavor probably because there was no white sauce and very littlechicken...pretty much a flat overtoasted bread with cheese. The Italian sandwich was flat as well and the overpowering dressingthat was used made it much worse. The 6 cheese Mac with pimento and bacon...not as good as Sam's Club. And lastly, potatosoup...I mean potato broth. Don't see Newk's Eatery lasting long here in Lubbock, TX...not sure what the hype is about this newrestaurant...to say the least it was forgettable, overpriced, and less than average. Read more
Very clean and airy. Floor to ceiling windows so you can enjoy outside views from wherever you sit. There is a large outside... patio with trees wrapped with lights that is beautiful after dark. All the staff was very friendly. Read more
So just walk rigth in, I was hungry so I'll give them points for getting the food prepared pretty fast, the staff was cool and... nice the place looked clean so that's a good thing, As for the food I started backwards had a slice of the pumpkin pie while Iwaited for the rest of the food and I'll be quite hones pretty good cake for a chain franchise highly recommend also ordered dehalf Cesar salad and bowl of chili both pretty good way better than the pepperoni and sausage pizza which was a little bland noreal spices in it and the sause was weak overall a good eating experience next time I'll try the sandwiches so I reckon you givethem a try.
