Lovely interior, attentive staff, and good food! I had the hibachi calamari which was cooked to perfection - I offered some to... my friends who don't like seafood and they were converted! Everything was delicious. One thing we didn't notice until it waspointed out to us: lunch specials are only for weekdays. We went on a Sunday and initially tried to order the hibachi lunchoptions. But the "dinner" menu options are still a good deal since you get so much food. Read more
My husband and I came to Susaki for sushi and left disappointed. We ordered the Out of Control roll and the spicy maki platter... to share. The rolls overall were lack-luster. The fish was obviously less fresh than you?d expect for sushi and the spicy fromthe spicy maki rolls were from extra wasabi in the roll. Will not be coming back and would recommend others find a better placeto spend their money. Read more

I am very picky about my sushi, as I have only been to a handful of places where the fish tasted fresh and well prepared. I was... so delighted to find good sushi in Lubbock at Susaki!!! I have a shellfish allergy, but my waitress took it very seriously andnotified everyone to be very mindful of it. Excellent service and absolutely DELICIOUS sushi.
