I normally love visiting this place. Today not so much. I placed my order. I was given my smoothie it was dripping from the... sides with mix and the girl would not clean it. She just handed it to me dripping from the sides. I had to find a napkin in mycar to clean up the mess from the cup and now dripping on my work clothes . Been to other tropical cafes in town and always been asked if I wanted to tip but at this location they automatically apply tip... without asking. Asked the manager why there was a tip when I wasn't asked and was told "if you take too long to answer that themachine applies tip" ???? these was the same person that ran my card at the drive thru window. SO so slow. Which is shocking bc the inside isn't even open. It took over 10 mins for 2 smoothies. No food. The cars behind me... probably thought I ordered one of everything. The gal who took my order was not friendly and not engaging AT ALL at the window(Wendaeza was her name). No hi...no thank you. Was handed my smoothie and BOTH cups had smoothie all over them. I had to askfor napkins and sat there and cleaned them off to make sure it didn't make a mess of my car. Just overall poor customer serviceexperience. I'll stick with the other 2 in town next time. Please hire more employees here. It's obvious the current employees are overworked. Orders take way too much time. Inaccuracy... with orders is an issue. And yet, we all want this place to be great because it provides better food in a fast-food medium. Read more
Went here to get a smoothie at 8:45. Doors were locked and drive thru automated voice says they are closed. Their sign and... business hours state they close at 9. Decided to call and ask if they were still open. Lady said they are closed, they usuallyshut down 15-20 minutes early to clean up. So why have your business hours state you close at 9. Might as well say you close at8:40. Read more
I doordash deliver The one at 19th and University was horrible...I drove across town to pick up an order that certainly should... have been ready when I arrived...it was 2 grilled cheese...no big deal,still had to wait 10+ minutes for them and I had anotherpickup to go get... I saw what I thought was my order get brought out and wrapped...and it was my order but they decided Iwasn't important enough to bring the customers at least semi warm food.I guess they wanted this and my 2nd order to both becold. I was not impressed. They weren't busy they were just BS'ing in the back. Would not suggest this location. The 1 by 82ndis far more professional. Read more
Well, I had the pleasure of being at the Grand Opening and it was awesome! Yes, there were other people there but I fully... enjoyed my visit. I was able to get "smoothies for a year" and yes, I'm excited. I ordered the Southwest wrap and the TripleBerry Oat - it was delicious. If you haven't tried it, I would recommend that you stop by and see what they have to nourish your taste buds. Read more
