Despite having the American Express icon on their payment machine, the barista informed me that they don't take the card,... period. It's yet another franchise that is too cheap to use Amex. This is on an official rest stop on the main highway (the 401)running from the USA through Ontario. Read more

Newly built starbucks that looked really promising for a rest stop with outdoor seating. However the service was extremely slow... and disorganized. Ordered a tea and a breakfast sandwich?which for some reason took over 15mins to prepare.
