The pizza here is really good. Thanks to their wood fire oven, they are able to prepare pizzas really fast with a lot of... flavour. My family enjoyed our lunch very much, which came to $54 with two pizzas, four drinks, and a 15% tip. I also enjoyedthe decor, which had a very playful, Italian home feel. Amazing gluten-free pizza! The crust is not your frozen Sysco variety but an actual crust that they prepare in-house. It has a... nice snap to it while still having a bit of lightness. The extra charge is worth the money since it is reflected in thequality. We tried the Amalfi and the Vegan. Both were excellent but because of the red sauce on the Vegan I would say it's thewinner. Their red sauce is the champion of pizza sauce! Very fresh and using the right tomatoes. I've been making my own gfpizza with imported flours from Italy for several years but would drive down to Manotick just to save me the trouble and get anequally amazing gluten-free pizza. Thank you for taking my request in even though you were fully booked! The pizza is sooo freaking good. I wish I would have... bought a 3rd!! The best pizza in Ottawa. Was there again on Saturday and it was fantastic. It does not get any better than a wood burning... stove, beautiful sauce and excellent tasting crust. You want to taste the ingredients fist and then the dough of the crust. Apizza restaurant should be judged first by it's cheese pizza (which I had) get it right and the rest will be good and they hitit out of the park. I left full and not bloated, the way it should be. Love the pizzas here. The favours speak for themselves made on a thin neapolitan crust. You watch them prepare your pizza and... in a 700 degree wood fired oven means your order is ready quick. Individual 12inch which I to often finish myself its so good.Staff are great always willing to explain the toppings and the process. I just wish they were closer to my place. Read more
