My last visit the food was great but my recent visit was very disappointing. I walked around looking for a menu only to find a... small one at the cash register that I had to share with another customer. I ordered the Thai Chicken wrap as suggested by thecashier. The wrap was drenched in honey mustard sauce and had a bitter taste. Some parts of the wrap were hot while other partscold. The cashier was friendly and welcoming. This place has seriously gone down in reference to quality and portion of food. I was highly disappointed when i ordered the ... salmon bowl with spinach and Kale, Saturday. THE salmon did not taste or look like salmon. The salmon tasted and looked likeTilapia or maybe some other white fish. It was also dry and flavorless. The spinach was frozen spinach, not fresh and for 25.00you would expect fresh spinach. The smoothie I ordered was good. A little sweet for my taste with cane syrup but okay. Read more

The other day I got HLS Juice Bar & Grill for lunch. Was absolutely disappointed. I got the Grilled Salmon Bowl w/ Honey Jerk... Sauce, Spinach, & Broccoli. For starters the Salmon was SUPER dry, but the amount of Salmon they give you offsets the texture,in a way. The Honey Jerk sauce was, good?!? There were equal, amazing and disgusting, bites as you ate the sauce. Personallywouldn?t order it again as a sauce topping. The Spinach was nearly immaculate. Great flavor. Texture. Seasoning. Everything! Nocomplaints what so ever on the spinach. The broccoli was a combo of steamed and/or baked. My only complaint about the broccoliwas the portion size! In fact, the portion size comparable to the price in general is not worth it at all. I enjoyed HLS, but Iwould not order that same meal again next time. Have been going to HLS since Mecc first opened it. The flavor and soul has defchanged. All in all, if you want a decent tasting, healthy meal, def try out HLS. I?m literally only giving this place 3 stars because I really try to support you guys. But my last 2 orders were horrible. Will... be inserting pictures. And something told me to look at the reviews today to see if I was just getting a bad batch or maybe itwas a bad day. But 5 reviews in 2 weeks that are 1 star is truly expected. And it?s obvious the owner doesn?t care cause it?snot changing. I paid $40 for 2 grilled chicken wraps and 2 smoothies right? As always. I don?t care about price for good food.But this time my sandwich is drenched in Caesar dressing mostly and it?s like the portion of the sandwiches are not the same atall?. Mind you it?s always a hit or miss. Because sometimes their either super dry or super drenched. No decent ratio. I?m superdisappointed. My smoothie is so thick I have to let it ?melt? and the the sweet potato fries are super salty today. Each reviewI?ve read, I probably had the same issue even when it comes to customer service. In the past I?ve been on hold for 7 minutes andpulling up and the girl was doing absolutely nothing to not take my order. I know nothing is going to change but think twicebefore spending your good money here. I will no longer be purchasing from them. I have been to this spot many times but this is my first review. I really like this spot because it is healthy. I wanted this... for lunch so I ordered over the phone. I asked the lady for vegan suggestions and she gave me a few. I ended up ordering the soythai chicken wrap. When I arrived I parked at a close parking space nearby. I walked in and told the cashier my name. My foodwas ready and it came to about $11 and change. When I got home I dug in and I didn't particularly care for the wrap. The saucewas not for me at all. This is the first time I had something from here and didn't like it. I will switch it up nexttime. Update: Thanks to Oby the owner for the great hospitality. He looked at my last review and rectified the situation. I wasable to get a bbq chicken wrap and it was tasty. I went in, said my name and got my wrap because of him and I did enjoy the wrapvery much. This is the HLS I know and love. Thank you! Read more
