Food was okay, I have had a better tasting bagel sandwich from other places. I was rushed to place an order. There wasn't enough... room to prep your coffee and as we sat outside and ate there were a bunch of people who's orders were wrong. But the worse partof this experience was that I didn't leave a tip on my credit card but looking at the receipt later that night, they had placeda tip on my bill themselves. I keep trying to like this place since I can walk there from my house, but they just aren't good. They have great fresh bagels.... But why can't they get food orders correct? I asked for onions in my home fries and they put onions in my omelet. My turkeysausage was microwaved and disgusting. Every employee looks miserable in there and most have no idea how to ring things up.MORE IMPORTANTLY, I witnessed 3 customers come back in after leaving and ask for the "credit card fee" back they had to pay whenpaying CASH. I give 5-stars for the bagels themselves but 1 star for incorrect orders and 2022 price gouging, plus improper use of their new... order software. Yes, the cost of things went up, but why was my bagel with low fat cream cheese $10.00??? Why was my husband'sbagel with cream cheese/lox $14.75?? Unordered markup items on our bill, too, but we were already on the Expressway by the timewe looked at the receipt. It?s a shame there?s no competition for bagels in Margate, because this place could use it. They consistently screw up the... orders, either adding or removing items as they deem fit. Today I ordered a sausage egg and cheese with onions, and was served asausage, bacon, egg and cheese with no onions. Last week I ordered a cinnamon raisin, toasted with cream cheese and a wholewheat untoasted, and was served a cold cinnamon raisin only, there was no whole wheat. When capitalism finally catches up withthis shore town, ?Hot? Bagels & Less is going to have to find ways to do better for their customers. Aside from the iced coffee being pricey, the bagels were delicious and the service was great! It's a little tight inside, but... they do a good job processing orders. They had a new system and still managed to get through orders efficiently. Read more
