Pleasant surprise to find great dim sum in the suburbs. They have a pretty deep menu with almost all my favorites. Steamed pork... buns were very good. They have a full standard Chinese menu too and the food looked good, we didn?t order any. Quick service andeasy ordering. Not as easy/fun as with carts, but they kept the food coming. Read more

I?m originally from Shanghai, so I know what good dim sums are. Overall, Tom?s Dim Sum is pretty solid and authentic. Their soup... dumplings are among the best I?ve ever had in the US. Shanghai Wonton Soup is okay, better than those places but not as good ashomemade ones. Stir-fried rice cake dishes have very authentic flavor. My only reservation is about the appetizer: Fried porkchop. It?s too dry and should have been served with Shanghai Spicy Soy Sauce instead of shrimp sauce. Read more

We enjoyed a delicious dim sum lunch on a day trip to Media. We sampled all our favorite dumplings, from shrimp har gow to pork... buns (char shiu bao) and pork shui mai. Their crab and cheese puffs were light and nicely crunchy. The service was fast andcourteous, and the prices were reasonable. We appreciated the photos in their menu which illustrated popular dim sum varieties. They are centrally located on State Street in downtown. Read more

This is my favorite place to eat in Media. The food is amazing, but the top notch service (extremely kind staff), nice decor,... and great location will have you coming back for more. The prices are also right on for what you're ordering. All the dumplingswe tried were excellent along with some of their other menu items like pork fried rice. Overall I'm very impressed with thisplace and highly recommend it - just be sure you don't confused this is restaurant with the similarly named one a few doorsdown. PS: their food is still amazing even for takeout and delivery! Read more

???? Tom?s Dim Sum - Media. We?ve so missed Dim Sum since it seems like the ones we like don?t have outside seating. It... turned out that today (Saturday) State St in Media is closed to traffic which means that a bunch of the restaurants have outsidetables. ???? We ordered the spicy shrimp, broccoli beef, chicken soup dumplings, crystal shrimp and shrimp dumplings?. And acrepe like beef dish, I forgot the exact name. Everything was good but my spicy shrimp is one of the best shrimp dishes I?vehad at a looong time? it is PUNISHINGLY spicy ???? but I was in this kind of mood so even though I was breathing an infernolater it was DAMM good! Despite it being a Saturday night, service was mostly good. Usually on Wednesday nights there isDining under the Stars on State street in Media and on occasional Saturday nights they do this (not sure if it?s posted inadvance or what the deal is). Normally, I?m not very enthused about eating on a street but there was quite the lively streetscene and great people watching ( I saw kids doing cartwheels in the street!) ???? Insiders Tip. Take the kids to either theTot Lot or Media Elementary School playground before or after a meal, both walking distance away? for dessert go to Scoops IceCream ( which we would normally do but it was getting too late for us). A great evening! ???? Read more
