The BBQ here was great. I had the smoked turkey leg and my husband had the rib tips. Both meats were great and our meals had... some soul sides of greens, yams and corn bread. The staff and owner was wonderful too. Great customer service. I will definitelyeat here again!!!! I am craving the smoked wings now and plan to get some before I leave town. ???? Read more
Everyone was very friendly and real! They have lots of food items but I decided to go with what was recommended by the one and... only Guy Fieri from Dinner's, Drive-ins and Dives. Definitely different from Texas style BBQ. Tom's Barbecue Memphis was a delightful trip, it was very authentic. Must try the... baby back ribs, these were extremely tender. We also ordered smoked chicken wings and oh boy what a treat. Everything wasamazing, they have been featured on TV as well. Food ????? Read more
I was in Memphis for management training. On our lunch break we stayed close to the facility. Luckily Tom?s was a short drive.... It was on the list of suggested lunch places from our company. It is where I first got to taste and fall in love with pulledpork. Lots of great menu choices. I got the pulled pork nachos with jalapeño. It was tough with all their choices, but Iusually gravitate towards nachos. They were featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and they are not afraid to promote it.Definitely stop in here for lunch if you are in Memphis. Read more
So this place was featured on Diners Drive in and Dives and lawd????????????. The only good thing about it were the green beans.... The beef ribs were blah, the mac n cheese were super runny and I also tried the pulled pork with the sauce on it. Please don'tmake that mistake. I had bought some parmesan crisps from aldi that I ended up putting them on there bcs it tasted like it wasboiled in hot water.dont try the corn either..no FLAVOR. IDK!! Great food, filling. I waited a few minutes before someone asked me what I wanted. The owner was the one who was very helpful.... Gave me a box to put the food in, put plastic wrap on the drinks so they won't spill. I walked a mile to order the food. Carriedthe box of food a mile back to share with my husband. I had the brisket plate with turnip greens, and it was great! My husband had the brisket and smoked hot sausage, and that was... great, too! We didn't try the other sides because we both loaded up on the greens. The place is old, but that's usually whereyou find the best food! Highly recommend! Read more
