Was HORRIBLE. The place smelled bad the floor was slippery as hell, probably cause they never changed the greasy water from the... kitchen. The hamburger was paper thin. Guy came out to grab the trays from the trash bin area and never cleaned up the area thatlooked like a land fill. Steak n Shake should be ashamed for what they did to this place. It use to be outstanding with waitersthat took care of you and burgers that you could at least see between the bun. Never go there again, Steak n Shake should removetheir name from the building out of embarrassment. Read more
Haven't been to this location in about 5 years. Last time I was there, it was a clean place, with helpful staff. Not so much... anymore. Not only was my order incorrect, the place, especially the bathroom, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months! Grease everywhere, no paper towels to dry your hands, and literally dried urine on the floors of the bathroom. Not to mention,the staff had their family and friends there, and my 7 year old daughter and I had to listen to them banter back and forth whilewe waited for and endured a sub par meal. I don't expect a 5 star experience at Steak and Shake, but I would expect at leastsome professionalism, and a clean place. Maybe if the manager wasn't out toking with her employees on their break, and beforework, you would have the aforementioned amenities. To whomever is the franchise owner, you should probably just cut bait now,because this staff is worthless, and you're going to lose your business in the long run anways because of them. Read more
What a dirty place and the food was garbage. It smells like the dirty men's room. Don't eat or drink anything from their.... Management should be fired and the place should be closed until they clean it up. It's a reason why there was only 4 peopleeating there. It is like the truck driver's say if it's not busy something wrong with the place. I didn't follow the advice andnow I'm out $50.00. Nobody could eat the food. Read more
The food was not that great. But, the shake was phenomenal. The fries tasted and felt like cardboard. The Burger was ok.... Everyone was friendly and nice. The food was a decent cost. I can't remember the Burger name I had. Read more
I feel like this place usually gets a bad rep, but I?ve been here twice now and I gotta say I love the burgers and I love the... shakes. I?m not a picky eater, nor do I care about what how neatly the food is (idc if the burger is slightly off center oranything like that), and the burgers are real good. There are never a lot of workers there so for who they?ve got I say you getsome good food and shakes. Fairly priced too for what you get, I?ll be coming back every once in a while. :) Read more
The place was empty. they have a computer to take the order. They cook and the menu is limited now. No ink machine to print... receipt and they were don't know why is does that. Had to see cooks under pants as seen on pick. My husband's sandwich themeat was sliding off u can see in pic also. It was cold setting and won't go again Read more
Had lunch here today. After ordering on the app, I was very confused about where to pick up food. App said to walk in and let... cashier know but all the doors were locked. There were parking spaces marked for food pick up but I didn't see anyone leavingthe restaurant. Decided to go thru the drive thru and they had the food ready for pick up there. Employee was very friendly andhelpful. Very nice. While eating in the parking lot, I noticed at least 5 cars stop, people got out, went to the locked doors,and got back in the car and left. A sign in the grass outside saying "drive thru only" might help retain some of thosecustomers. Had a burger and fries. Both were hot and delicious! Read more
Terrible Terrible service. Waited 45 min for 3 of our 6 dinners. And 10 more minutes for the other 3 which weren't even... complete. People that came in after us received their orders before we got a few of ours. We had to ask several times to get 2French fries and apple sauces for the kids, finally got them 50 min after we ordered. My burger had cheese on it even though Ididn't order cheese. It took 1 hour (after i through a fit and was leaving) to get it corrected. I couldn't even just get mymoney back and leave because we have to order on a kiosk and it printed a blank receipt and also there was literally no onearound. They would leave the orders on the counter and run to the back. I contacted corporate but after 11 days still have heardnothing. Read more
