I ordered a pizza for carry out and very happy with the whole experience. The food was ready when I arrived. It was hot, fresh,... and made exactly as I ordered it. The pizza smelled amazing and I ate two slices driving home. The slices where cut nicely andeasy to hold did not make a mess in the car and wad delicious. Less than an average pizza. Greasy & no flavor. Not worth $17.50. Their large size is like a medium in NYC. They also charge $1... for a tiny crushed pepper bag which should be free. I understand they?re in South Beach but it?s a rip off. Read more
My pizza looked like it was dropped or something heavy was placed on top. All the cheese was stuck to the top of the box and... looked as though the cheese was picked off. The pan pizza evokes memories of a time long gone when the hut was the pinnacle of American pizza. I am not sure why they are... trying to branch into other types of pizza when the core product is so good. Accidentally had the 'hand tossed' cheese pizzawhich frankly was not very good. The single pan pizza on the other hand seemed straight out of a fond childhood memory. Doyourself a favor and make sure you are ordering pan pizza! Note to any tourists without a US phone number (you need to enterone to order), they may try to call you to verify the number and given the website doesn't allow you to enter an internationalnumber you shouldn't order this way or end up like me waiting over 2hrs for a pizza that never comes (had to go to the storewhere they told me it was cancelled - on the tracker it still said in preparation...and I don't think I got refunded either). Order process using the website was fast and easy. The order was delivered before the estimated time and the pizzas came really... hot and delicious!! The delivery guy was really nice. Ordered pizza to be delivered to my hotel via the website. Received an email confirmation that my order has been received and... that it is being made and delivery should be within 25-35 minutes. 40 minutes had passed and the status had still not changed. Icalled them to ask when can I expect my order and they said the delivery driver will call me when my order arrives. The person Ispoke to was not very clear so I waited another 10 minutes and still nothing. I called again and I was informed that my order isnot showing on the system and that it might already be delivered. I said I have not received anything and how can my order notappear when I have an email confirmation confirming my order. I was then asked if I could speak spanish as the store manageronly speaks spanish which did not make sense as you would expect them to speak english in a tourist area. I said no I do notspeak spanish and as my order is not on their faulty system and I won't be receiving it I told them they should update theirsystems and not send order confirmations saying the order has been received when clearly it hasn't.
