Smoky room, heat didn't work well, and noone at the desk to help solve the problem! We stayed for just one night, and I agree... with the comfy beds and the quiet rooms--but the room reeked of cigarettes (supposedly was 'non smoking'). We had to launder allour clothes and have our parkas cleaned and were coughing for 2 days from the smell. Went to the desk immediately, rang thelittle bell, no-one was around. Checked through the hotel and couldn't find the guy who checked us in 5 minutes earlier. Cameback 3 times that evening and phoned but couldn't find anyone to move us or maybe come up with an air cleaner. Then as tempswent down to -15 outside, it was clear that the heating unit couldn't keep up. It would kick in and then quit--probably due tolack of maintenance on the filters so not enough air flow. It never did get above about 65 degrees F (18C) and we were cold allnight. So miserable! And how can you run a hotel without anyone on duty after 5 PM?? Read more

Beds and pillows are the BEST. probably one the best night sleeps I've had in a long time on the road. Rooms are super quiet.

The rooms were great, the bed and sleep were fantastic. The tub was a bit old. Would I come again? Ya, this is for sure where... I'd stay. Read more

I didn't stay the night here but I ate at the restaurant and it was amazing. The food was excellent.

We (group of 24)stayed here while bicycling for CASA(Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health). We had wonderful, comfortable... rooms. The restaurant prepared a delicious lasagna meal with salad. This was perfect after a long day of bicycling. Read more

We had the Double Queen "suite" with kitchen and sitting area. Beds are not in a separate sleeping area. It is one large square... room with a kitchen in one corner. Beds were nice. Windows were large and sound proof but would not open. This is a shamebecause the non-smoking room smelled of smoke. I'm sure they tried cleaning it out but the smell was pretty strong. Kitchen hadmost of the basics, but it was a challenge making something as simple as spaghetti and a salad because pots and cooking itemswere very limited (no strainer or salad bowl). Sponge for dishes was grimy and worn out. Friendly staff was helpful gettingwhat we needed and probably could have gotten us more cookware if we asked. Restaurant looked good. Maybe would stay again butwould ask for another room. Kitchen was underwhelming for the price. Read more
