Let me say I?m a fan and fairly consistent bubble tea drinker at places ranging from independent shops to recent franchises. I... give this branch of KFT a low rating because the tapioca (the boba) was extremely inconsistent even within both my orders (1 xoolong milk tea, 1 x strawberry lemonade green tea, both with tapioca): some pieces were as chewy and fresh as you?d expect fromtheir brand - but the worst part was many pieces were hard like dried fruit. When I was receiving my order another fellowactually had walked up to the employees to share this same issue with his drink, though I had left before hearing whether he wasable to have this be resolved. The rest of the drinks I ordered were fine. Hoping that the inconsistent tapioca issue can befixed! Otherwise their space is very nice, large and airy with room for people to sit and relax. We have ordered from here multiple times. There are plenty of KFT around maybe don?t try this one. I will say that their bubbles... are not too mushy and their tea is consistent, but this is not okay. It has happened to us on multiple occasions where 1/8 ofthe drink is gone. At that point I might as well order a medium. It?s a subtle way of ripping us off a dollar each drink. I hopethe owner gives me back my multiple dollars. We are loyal KFT drinkers and this is a sneaky scheme that I do not approve of.You?re ruining the KFT name. I hope you remedy this! Read more
Love at first sip!!! Good bouncy boba, strong tea flavors, and fast, friendly service. The owner greeted us right away and... explained their menu. They offer about 11 flavors of tea (hot or cold), milk tea, slushie, yogurt, "Milk Strike" (Lactaid milkwith tea), and more with a handful of toppings. Of all their flavors, I've enjoyed their classic taro with milk tea and boba sofar. I also appreciate that you can customize the amount of sugar and ice (zero on both for me). Other flavors on my list to tryare coffee, oolong, and Thai. Please leave me be, I'm drinking my boba tea! :) NOTES/TIPS: **You can park in their municipallot on the corner of Main St. and Essex St. or in another municipal lot by Dunkin Donuts on Millburn Ave. **During the CovidCrisis, they accept orders on their app, then request that you text them your name when you get there. Update: Sloppy. No top off like other locations. I would avoid this Kung Fu in Millburn. See huge void in new cup picture. Been... coming here since the beginning. Used to love everything. Regular bubble milk tea is always my go to with less ice of course.Oreo is always a close second. However, new staff has progressively downgraded this establishment. First, the newer staffstarted not topping off the tea, letting bad lid seals go to customers, and using less and less oreo to the point where"dusting" would be a generous description. Now today's visit with the newest employees resulted in a 3/4 cup of BS (seepicture). With more and more bubble tea spots opening, the owners better right the ship or they'll be sunk for good.
