We had perfect ribs and enjoyed great service at Outback Steakhouse yesterday! After having read a number of rather negative... reports- mostly regarding service- we went there yesterday evening for the last dinner of our holiday trip. The food was good, but the service was really terrible as you could nowhere find the waiter in two hours My family was there... from 8:00-10:00pm. I understand the weekend is usually busy, but it should not have been the case that drink came after 30minutes and after the request to cancel the drink. I had to wait for 15+ minutes to get the check done! Obviously, I let themanager know and also wrote five ?????????? on the check as a service comment. Try to avoid the weekend if you can! We arrived here around 9:45pm Tuesday. The door was already locked but we asked if we could just get dessert and they allowed us... inside. Good food, healthy servings! We went for a late lunch on Saturday. It wasn't really busy but we did have to wait several... minutes for our table. We were in no rush. I got the Toowoomba Salmon, that was a good-sized serving, a healthy side offreshly-steamed broccoli and Ceasar salad. My son got a healthy Outback Burger that came on a soft bun and a side of fries, andmy husband got the ribeye with salad and a cup of delicious French Onion soup. Ok first time at this location,and I had a great time. But a star definitely goes to my daughter she makes everything better. I... got there early so I could have a drink,there were very few patrons there when I arrived at 12 noon. Since I was alone I sat atthe bar and ordered a Sam Adams while I waited for my daughter to arrive. When she called and said that she was five minutes outI decided to order her a Captain Morgan and Coke. Unfortunately they were out of Captain Morgan and any other spiced rum. Thebartender went out of her way to help me as did the manager. Now I didn't take hardly any pictures because my daughter gets allof my attention. She ordered a eight oz. Steak and fries which she said was fantastic. I had steak and shrimp pasta which wasalso great. And I also had the Boomer margaritas which are four different flavored margaritas.
