All I can say is that service is horrible and the Nacatamal it doesn't taste like a Nicaraguan Nacatamal, the price is... ridiculous 23.00 for one Nacatamal that doesn't taste good it all. The chicken tamale was horrible. It's better going to a realMexican restaurant to get real tasty tamales that are way cheaper then this fake place. Don't waste your money in a place thatsell frozen tasty tamales. YOU WILL REGRET EATING FAKE MEXICAN FOOD AT THIS PLACE. Read more
We loved service of the owner. The presentation of the food wasn't great but I do know he had a new cook. The steak burrito I... had was was big and very flavorful. The Tortilla soup was a bit on the spicy side for my granddaughter. The grilled asparagusand shrimp dish was really good but a little heavy on the Chipotle for my wife. This hidden treasure is a place you don’t need to go to if you’re in a hurry, or want your traditional sit down... restaurant. - AMAZING TAMALES - AMAZING LIMEADE, and their Horchata is out of this world with flavor that will take you to atropical paradise. - Asparagus that’s greener than any you’ve seen before with a slight crunch when you bite down that’sfull of flavor. - Their salsa is flavorful, fresh, and homemade. - Rice & Beans are exquisite The food was above average, itwas authentic, very delicious. Don’t let their prices differ you, as when you get your plate get ready for your taste buds tobe opened up and take you for a wild ride. I have read the negative reviews, and came to the conclusion that everyone isentitled to they’re own opinion. Great local spot. Quirky, but wholesome. Ordered chips and salsa, chorizo and asparagus plate and one grilled veggie tamale. The... asparagus was charred perfectly, the chorizo was crisp, homemade tortillas were warm, salsa was hot and chips were fresh. Plusmargaritas were strong. Highly recommend! Read more

Charlie is a gruff adorable owner who will make your mouth happy w/ tamales of every kind. Be patient, find a seat and he will... be w/you asap. There is a yellow menu for take out(frozen tamales) or a hot meal on the two regular menus. Frozen tamales comein 4 packs and are individually large. And the margaritas come w/ chili salt on the rim. Wow what a horrible experience. The owner is very rude and seemed to be racist. I called and asked how much were the... nacatamales and the owner said "if you're asking the price it's because you can't afford it" ???? who in their right mind(specially the owner) says that!! I was asking because my neighbors wanted to know. But after that response I will never goback! And I will make sure to let my employees know about the scumbag owner, which they were so disappointed after hearing howrude he was. This place just lost so many of my employees that use to go during their lunch time. And $22.95 for a nacatamal?Are you out of your mind!! They don't even taste like the real deal.
