Used to frequent this sandwich place when we lived in San Antonio, it was great then and great now. Just recently learned they... were in Mission and already been there three times. Subway take lessons and when you grow up you too can make great sandwiches. Read more
I usually go to the Edinburg location but decided to come to this one instead. The staff was as friendly as can be counting I... went in 30 minutes before closing. The girl at the sub station was so friendly and very accommodating to how the sub was to be.The restaurant was pretty clean in general, and of course the freshly sliced sub meat is amazing! ???? I had seen plenty of commercials of Jersey Mike's and each time I saw how they prepared their sandwiches with "the juice"...it... made me crave some Jersey Mike's. Well they definitely don't disappoint...I've tried several of their sandwiches, hot and coldand each time they have been delicious. They seem to have their own brand of meat and they don't slice the cuts until you orderthe sandwich, so it always tastes fresh. I remember once with Subway I had chicken breast that was stone cold in the centerbecause they ship it frozen and simply reheat it...not Jersey Mike's. Jersey Mike's keeps it simple with their toppings aswell...lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo...and "the juice". Something so simple as red wine vinegar with olive oil and some saltpepper...the right combination and the sandwich pops. They also have chipotle mayo or ranch if you do a hot sandwich. And theircrispy bacon goes perfect on anything.... I went to Jersey Mike's located at 201 S. Shary Rd. in Mission, it's one block north of the expressway. I went for some friends... and myself, and I ordered three different subs. Jersey Mike's gives you the option of hot or cold subs, with the hot subs comingoff the flat top grill. I ordered the Tuna Fish, The Super Sub, and Mike's Famous Philly. The two cold Subs were made rightaway, but the grilled one took some time to make, which is expected because it's made to order. Jersey mike doesn't have thevariety of toppings Subway has, but they are alot more generous than Subway. I really like the way they douse the sub with oiland vinegar and the herb sprinkle. After trying all three, I gotta admit they were really good. I added the Cherry Pepper relishto the Tuna along with bacon strips( don't knock it till you try it) and I was glad it wasn't that dark, strong tasting Tunasome deli's use. December 10, 2022 at 8:50, I went to place an order #17 & 56. Hostess proceeded to say ?sorry put our grill is being cleaned.... You can order from our cold ???? subs menu.? The person at the grill continue cleaning the grill an ignored us completely.However, if we wanted a cold ???? sub I could?ve ordered elsewhere. Also, I?m not asking for free subs. I?m paying for it.Really disappointed at the staff and how this was handled. I drove to far for this service. Why do you bother to stay open until9pm if you?re closing the grill. That is not professional, sorry but I can?t comment and your food because your employees madesure not serve what we wanted on what your menu has. Also, this the second time it?s happened. I have never had your food.Please correct your employees, hours of service or menu. ????. I wish this was a different outcome. Read more
