Nice decor and dining room. Friendly service. Delicious food with good wok hei. The potstickers has thin wrapping stuffed... with juicy pork filling. Chef Lee?s fried rice (combo meat) has the essential wok hei. Walnut shrimp is jumbo sized. Read more

The food was hot, fresh and flavorful, and portions large. Saucy. I had to request chopsticks, which I'd never done in a Chinese... restaurant. The service was a bit slow; however it was a late dinner so I will forgive the restaurant for only having one servertaking orders. While some parts of the restaurant could probably use some updating (e.g. the restrooms were relatively clean, albeit beaten from years of use), the dining area was fine and I appreciated the ceiling art. First time back there in 3-4 years. Nice location, big parking lot. Food was good, but not as good as we remembered. Service was... fine, no complaints about that. Might try again soon as maybe just an off night for the cook(s). Read more

Chef Lee's Monterey has been the Peninsula's #1 Chinese restaurant for over 50 years. The service is great. The food is quickly... made, served hot, full of flavor and delicious. Thank you for hosting our family events from Baptisms, wedding rehearsaldinners, birthdays, and celebrations of life luncheons. The staff is always hard working, gracious, and very accomodating. Thanks for being my "chef" when I'm so busy and don't feel like cooking. I can relax and have a great meal. Read more

I got the broccoli and beef rice plate and it was a big plate! Very good taste and amount. Great atmosphere. The restaurant... building itself is a beautiful sight to see as well, especially for an architecture and interior design enthusiast like me. Read more

Full parking lot on a Wednesday night you know it has to be good! Split Mongolian beef & chicken chow mein with my husband. Both... were great! Also got the crab wontons and they were better than MANY crab wontons/Rangoon I?ve had before. Really, really fastservice. Read more
