We had a party of 8. The service was great, no doubt about that. Our server did get a bit overwhelmed, I think for party of 6... they should have a server and a helper. Food-wise, it was okay. From what my wife and I had (ahi tuna, turbot fish), the foodwas good, not outstanding. Our entire party share sides, they were pretty good (corn was outstanding, mushroom and brusselssprouts were good. Food and experience amazing. Management’s hospitality is non existent! I was chased out the door just to be asked why I... didn’t leave a tip of $42. I the customer should be able To decide what I’m going to tip but was basically told if I’m nottipping what he wants me to tip then I shouldn’t come there. Great atmosphere, good food, friendly managers, however the tall bartender needs to have an attitude check. All patrons should... be treated the same. I am writing to you to let you know how disappointed we were with service at ML Tavern restaurant. Our reservations were on Oct... 1, 2022, at 7:30 PM for 8 people. Our group was seated at a round table with plenty of room. One of our friends whose husbandrecently past way wanted to join us for a drink. We have politely asked management for extra chair. We told there are no extrachairs in ML Tavern restaurant on Saturday night. Really !!! No chairs at restaurant. We have expected much more from aprestigious and reputed restaurant of your standards. This is not what we expected at all. The manager was rude andunprofessional and asked us to give back a single chair found. Imagine yourself cruising along a nonchalant, dreamy and smooth road in a vintage Italian convertible. Breathing in the rich and... sweet scent of zesty florals and citrus of the deliciously intoxicating Italian countryside. The salty, summer sea breezeblowing through your flowing hair, the fantasy-like setting. You roll into the private country club and order the mostdelectable, mouthwatering, exquisite meal you have ever had. *ML is American food, but that’s what it made me think of* Nowthat is what ML tavern feels like. I went there 8/31 for dinner with my mother and sister. As soon as we arrived and pulled intothe parking spot, I looked at the intricate design and elements on the outside of the tavern and not a single thought in my minddoubted this place. As the sweet hostess smiled and brought us to our table and the infrastructure of the restaurant reminded meof a art museum collided with a modern day villa. We were greeted by one of the kindest servers I have ever met, Matthew. Ourglasses were constantly filled with water every time it ran low, and we were checked upon often. We ordered some “Parker”bread rolls and a Caesar salad to get us started with, and it was out very quickly. Our server even ensured he would split itfor us to make sure we had enough! The buns were perfectly and delicately toasted, with a superbly delightful moist and fluffyinside. The seasoning was never too much or overpowering. Moving forward to the other appetizer, one of my favorite parts aboutthe Caesar salad was its croutons. When I ate the amazingly crisp lettuce drizzled with a creamy, filling Caesar dressing, thecroutons found me reminiscing of a lightly toasted marshmallow on a sparky campfire on the late summer nights. The croutons werefar different from the store bought ones in the plastic bagging, those ones are dry and crunchy and loaded with way too muchgarlic flavor. Great atmosphere, great food, and free valet! One of the best ribeye's I've had in a long time. Opted to top it with truffle... butter and it was definitely the right move. The food and service was good. I was a little surprised by the way we were seated. We requested a table seat but they said they... didn't have any so we would have to take one at a high top seat.
