This winery will surely surprise you in the best ways possible. No offense to the owners but the outside is a bit deceiving but... Believe me they make up for it in their wine! They are different from the standard PA winery - they are actually really good! The best were the kog hill red, cab sav, blackberry, and the reserve Chardonnay is not for the faint of heart but damn it?syummy. Listen here, they have something for everyone, Dry, sweet, semi, sweet, cider, beer and even somewhat of a port. Thegames inside are fun and the outside seating in the sun is very nice. Go there and do a flight, you will definitely walk outwith a bottle of something. Read more

Nice place, cozy and inviting well priced. Wine flavors were not tasteful as described by our party.

This was my favorite spot on the berks county wine trail. I loved the atmosphere. It was walking into a different time. Very... cozy and inviting. The woman who I believe runs the place made us feel very comfortable. For me it's all about atmosphere. Thegreat wine was just the cherry on top. Read more

I drove over an hour to sample wines and buy several bottles for wine tasting at a party the next day. I called ahead and... emailed and was reassured they would be open. here I am in their parking lot, doors are locked and no one is answering theirphone or email during their open hours. I hope everyone is alright. very disappointed. Read more

I can't say that I've been in for a tasting yet, as my first experience with Kog Hill was during our "shelter in place," but I'm... sure that will be happening in the (hopefully) near future. I love supporting local business, and heard great things aboutthem, so decided to place an order for curbside pickup! I love a good Pinot Noir (which they had), and also saw that they hadsome other delightful sounding wines to try. I will say, as much as I enjoyed the Pinot, the Blue Merlot was great. (I'lldefinitely need to get some more of that.) I still need to try the Gewurztraminer (and for someone to tell me how you evenpronounce that), which I've been waiting to have chilled on a nice hot day. The staff has been very friendly, reaching out tosee how I liked the wine and if they could answer any questions, make recommendations, or do anything for me. I recommendchecking this place out! Four of us stopped by to taste and buy some wines. One of my friends said their wine was really good. There were only about... 8-10 people tasting wines but the two folks behind the counter never even said hello to us even though we made eyecontact. After waiting 10 minutes we just left. That?s a shame. Again we wanted to taste and buy some wine. Read more

I'm a big wine lover and Kog Hill still remains my favorite winery! They have a wide variety of wines so whatever your taste is,... you will find something on the list. Personally, I prefer semi-sweet to sweet wines, but even the dry wines are phenomenal! Ilove to travel and try a new winery everywhere I vacation and I've still had nothing even close to the quality of Kog Hill'sRiesling, which is my usual wine of choice. The tasting is $5.00 for anything on the list and you keep the glass afterward! Allthe wine is very reasonably priced. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable about their product as well. I honestlyrecommend this winery as much as I can to anyone that likes wine. Read more
