Just took my mom here for dinner, as she was in town from the west coast. The atmosphere was lovely and cozy. 100% recommend the... stuffed mushrooms as a starter. Out server Chris was great - attentive and polite. I was nervous to take my mom somewhere I'dnever been, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Wonderful dinner. Read more

Went for my birthday. It's sure not what it used to be. My family's been celebrating at Louie's for 30 years. We expected a... great celebration . For the first time ever at Louie's we were served scorched soup, cold main courses and enough side dishesfor six people. On the plus side the artichoke appetizer was edible but not spectacular. Our server appeared to be poorlytrained and service was slow. He was always around pouring water , but very slow to bring the food . Problems in the kitchen? Wedecided to leave before dessert because we knew it would be disappointing. Sorry to have lost one of my favorite places. Thismeal was mediocre at best. Not worth the price. Read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. We both ordered lunch entrees (sirloin & filet, French onion soup, side... salad, mashed potatoes, and twice baked potatoes). We also ordered stuffed mushroom appetizer & chocolate mousse cake!Appetizers, steaks, soup, and dessert was all fantastic. Too full to eat sides with everything else we enjoyed. We?ll definitelycome back for dinner. Service was great too!! Went back for Father?s Day? server was slightly rude but support staff was great!Parents loved the food. Different menu, holiday menu, was okay. Read more

We had a wonderful night at Louis Chop House this evening. Our server, Haley, was magnificent. She was friendly, attentive,... efficient and made our visit so much more enjoyable than so many other restaurants. The food was fabulous. I had Piedmontfilet and it literally melted in my mouth. The Au Gratin potatoes were absolutely wonderful. Topping off our evening was thechocolate mousse cake with berries ? pure heaven. This will be our go to restaurant for those special occasions. It's been a long time since i ate here. Thankfully not a thing has changed. The atmosphere, service and food were nothing short... of exceptional. Server was prompt, friendly and on point in every way. I got the dry aged 12oz ribeye and au graten potatoes. Exceptional they were. Glad i came back. Read more

My steak was cooked perfectly. The ala-carte items are enough for two. Had the tables side spinach salad for two and it was... Excellent. Read more

I came here genuinely excited to try some good food. When the menu has prices like these, you should expect some good food. We... ordered artichoke dip and it was bland. The pita bread tastes like nothing but grill butter. I ordered a steak and it came outas a fatty knotted wad of inedible gristle. Look at the picture. They charged me $36 for that! The $7 side of asparagus camewith 5 grilled spears and a teaspoon of sauce. Everything was underseasoned. I fact, the salt shaker on the table was rock solidand we couldn't season the food if we wanted to. The "au gratin" potatoes were nauseating just to look at. Only one of ustasted them and they were not good. With as much money as I paid im genuinely angry at this restaurant. I literally could havegotten a better steak at applebees. Don't come here, save your money and avoid the pretention Read more

When we went out for dinner tonight, we did not expect to be absolutely blown away.. we were! Louis' has been on our list for a... while. We did not know what to expect, but we hoped it would be good. Service was a little behind and started slowly. Nothingthat many other restaurants are not experiencing now. We did not help this issue as we did not order drinks or appetizers so thewaitress had no time padding. We ordered the table side ceaser salad. Absolutely amazing. Fresh, full of flavor and uniquehints of ingredients that are not used at many other restaurants. For the main meal we ordered Chateaubriand a la Bouquetiere. This is a table side prepped plate with an amazing sauce. The presentation of the meal was spot on. We frequent other steakhouses and chop houses and would put Louis' on par with the best of them. The price was what you would expect for a meal of thiscaliber and I would even say that it is a better value than some of the popular choices out there. At the end of dinner, weonly had one regret.. why didn't we come here sooner!! Read more
