The service and ambiance were 5 stars! Oscar was our server and took such good care of us. The dips are amazing, especially the... whipped apricot. We got salad with the bed and shrimp, but they accidentally have chicken. To compensate, they gave the beef onthe house. The beef was the star - chicken and shrimp were ok. The desserts were phenomenal. Loved the refreshing lemon frozenyogurt and the cheesecake. Not overly sweet like most desserts and unique presentation. My only complaint is that I saw acockroach on two containers of ingredients. I understand that cockroaches are everywhere in New York, but I think therestaurants could?ve covered the food instead of leaving it open. The manger swiftly spoke with me and apologized, and thenthrew out the ingredients, so I think they handled it very well. Overall, definitely going back!! Read more

The dips selection was authentic and delicious. I would definitely come back again just to get that. The other items were less... stellar IMO, and didn?t pair well together. The sweet potatoe side should have been on the dessert menu (it is incredibly richand sweet, but arguably in an overwhelming way). But overall, a good place for a quick snack and beautiful ambiance. We didn't need to order much to be full. Their set of dips were so worth it and all very delicious - highly recommend to share!... Great find in Hudson Yards. We came here for brunch and we're impressed with the service (shout-out to Orlando!) and food. If... you're looking for a lot of healthy options, this is it! Their spritz was incredibly refreshing! Definitely come with a groupand share the dips. There was a small issue with one of our dishes and the staff went above and beyond to make it right. I can?t say that anything at Zou Zou?s really blew me away. The dessert was good, the latkes were good, the dips were also good,... but for the price point I expected a lot more. Either in portion size, taste, or service. The space is gorgeous. It?s modernand super cool to have the half open kitchen on the side. The service was not good. Water wasn?t filled after the first time,and our waiter got our order wrong and charged us for the mistake. It just felt like he couldn?t be bothered to help us out. Excellent from start to finish. The drinks were amazing (Road to Jericho), bartender, hosts waitstaff were all attentive and... pleasant. We were well cared for. Food- so many delicious things. The food at Zou Zou?s is delicious! It?s a shame that our server would do the kitchen such a disservice by not learning the menu... - something we discovered during our first interaction: the restaurant offers four different types of breads and when we askedher to help us choose one, she was unable to describe any of them adequately. After that entirely pointless exchange, weproceeded to just order menu items that looked good to us, and everything was fantastic! The dips were delicious and thepresentation was lovely; wish we could have had all five, but it would have been too much for just the two of us. The Kumamotooysters were dressed with a tasty mignonette and the fried chicken was excellent. The batter on the chicken was flavorful withMoroccan spices and the pieces were juicy and tender. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the supporting service staff wereattentive and accommodating (consistent water refills, fresh plates, etc).
