We were on our way home from Holden Arboretum and just happened to drive past Mangia Mangia (we live 1.5 hours away) We decided... to stop for dinner, because the parking lot was full, and a full parking lot means good food. Right? I ordered the linguinewith clam sauce, husband ordered chicken Marsala, kids ordered off the kid menu- spaghetti and meatball, and Mac andcheese. Let’s talk about the clam sauce! It was delicious! It’s a white clam sauce and tasted homemade and made fromscratch. My husband loved his chicken Marsala! Service was amazing and food came pretty quickly. We will definitely make the1.5 hour drive just to eat dinner here again! Read more

Decent place. Certainly good for Newbury standards. But when a restaurant has a sign saying “a really really good Italian... restaurant” out front, it’s probably not that good. You shouldn’t need a sign to convince people. It’s about the samequality as Olive Garden. It’s good for lunch, and it’s the only “Italian” restaurant around which serves Mangia Mangiawell. I got the chicken parmesean sandwich. It was a tiny little thing, ate it in about 5 bites. The wedding soup was good.Overall, an average spot. Read more

Been here in the past and will say without a doubt their service and food quality is in the gutter. Bacon pizza was sweet and... tart. Veal parm tasted like a breaded white castle burger The shells for the muscle pasta as a sub for the other noodles whereso small tic tac's are twice as large as the shells Definitely won't be coming back. What a great traditional Italian eatery. This is the kind of place you take your family to for great food and friendly service.... We had the tortellini pasta and Clam pasta. The bread with butter sauce is to die for. The wedding soup isn’t the best, butgood enough. I did enjoy my Caesar salad that came with my entree. Next time, I want to try the pizza. I will also say, excellent marinara sauce…I believe made in house. A hidden secret out in the country. Read more
